While an undergraduate student, Sarah lived and studied language and culture in Cuernavaca, Mexico and Toledo, Spain. Sarah went on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she served as an associate writer on the Hamline Journal of Public Law & Policy.
