Why do I offer free email consultations on any legal issue? After practicing for more than 30 years I have seen many situations where a problem was made much worse because the people involved did not consult an attorney at the beginning. Many people do not consult attorneys because they do not know how much it will cost and believe that it will be very expensive, much more than they can afford. Other people are busy with work and family and cannot find time between 8 and 5 on a weekday to drive to an attorneys office for an appointment. My new website, combines modern technology with my 30+ years of experience to solve these problems. I have listed the cost of many services on the website. You will know exactly how much the fee will be before you hire me. Also allows you to start the process from home on your computer at a time convenient for you. I offer web-video conference, telephone confernces and in-person meetings at my office at convenient times after the normal work day. I do these things because I believe that everyone should access to an attorney.

My practice is focused on civil trial matters. There is nothing I like better than standing up in a courtroom and zealously advocating for my clients. This is one of my core values-zealous advocacy. I tend to think well on my feet and this helps me adapt to changes while in court when it comes to presenting a great case for my clients. I also have a great team behind me. We work together to reach the best possible outcome for my clients given their circumstances. Sometimes the best solution is resolution and other times it is litigation. Whatever the circumstances I aggressively advocate the best position for my clients.. My dad was a plumber and he taught me how hard work can pay off. I don’t let anyone out work me. The facts may not be the best or the law might be an uphill battle but no one will work harder than me on a case. That is one of my core values. .. Being the youngest of five my siblings liked to tease me that I was “spoiled” by my parents. What I learned however was to be thankful for the things I have and the gifts of friendship by others. Gratitude is one of my core values.. My core values tie in with my abilities to think creatively, work tirelessly, collaborate with others and my clients, communicate effectively and be grateful.. I have been recognized in Chambers USA, and as a Great Plains Super Lawyer. I have been recognized as a rising star by Benchmark Litigation. I am rated AV by Martindale-Hubble.. I also serve as President of the State Bar Association of North Dakota and am council attorney for the Boy Scouts of America.
