Education. Kristine Young graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a degree in Criminology, Law, and Society and a minor in Political Science.  While an undergraduate, Ms. Young was a teaching assistant for criminal law courses, volunteered her time as an investigative interviewer with the Orange County Public Defender, and worked for the United States House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.. Ms. Young attended law school at Santa Clara University, where she received numerous awards and commendations for brief writing and oral advocacy.. Awards and Honors. While in law school, Kristine Young was an editor on the Law Review, worked for the Santa Clara Superior Court as a judicial intern, and was finalist in the school’s moot court competition.  She also competed on a national level representing the university in the prestigious National Moot Court Competition.  During her time at Santa Clara, Ms. Young received the Pro Bono Service Award, and graduated with a Certificate in Public Interest and Social Justice.. Donald P. Madsen was born and raised in Northern California, and Southern Oregon. He absolutley loves serving his clients Estate Planning, Probate, and Conservatorship needs. He especially loves working with his Spanish speaking clients.  He has been a speaker in the past few years at the Fiesta Educativa, a non-profit educational program put on each year for Spanish Speaking parents that have children with disabilities.  He conducts his presentation on Conservatorships in Spanish.  He lived in Guatemala, Central America, for two years where he learned to speak Spanish (se habla Español).. In 1989 he attended Brigham Young University where he played baseball before deciding to dedicate himself to the study of Sociology and Law.  He graduated with a Bachelor’s in science in Sociology in 1994.. Don attended McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, while working as a law clerk for local attorneys.  He graduated in 1999 where he was recognized by the Sacramento County Estate Planning Council for his achievements..
