David was born in St. Thomas, USVI but moved to Miami before his second birthday. After spending the next 8 years in South Miami, David moved to Fort Lauderdale and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. After high school, David attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX where he earned a degree in Psychology.
