David was born in St. Thomas, USVI but moved to Miami before his second birthday. After spending the next 8 years in South Miami, David moved to Fort Lauderdale and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. After high school, David attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX where he earned a degree in Psychology. David returned to South Florida and earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law School.. David and his wife, Calla have two children, Cooper and Holden.. David's hobbies include fishing, diving and spending time with his family.. David currently sits on the Board of Trustees at Saint Mark’s Episcopal School, Islamorada Fishing and Conservation Trust, Brian Piccolo Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame. David is also on the Steering Committee of the Annual Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar and a member of the Professional Advisory Committee of the Community Foundation of Broward.
