I graduated from UC Berkeley (with Bachelors degrees in Social Welfare and Economics) and UC Hastings College of Law. I also speak Vietnamese and served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Southern California (VABASC). I've also volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children and as a pro bono attorney.
