My practice is focused on helping children and families. Whether it is an adoption, guardianship, conservatorship, custody, visitation or other matter, I can offer a calm, sensible and reassuring voice to families in crisis. I am an experienced attorney, having handled a wide variety of cases throughout California.  (Please see the Cases, Client Reviews, and Endorsements sections on my Profile page.) I am also an Adjunct Professor at UC Irvine School of Law and work with law students interested in public interest careers. Prior to starting my practice, I was the Interim Pro Bono Director and Lead Attorney for the Public Law Center (PLC) and worked for legal aid organizations, including Legal Advocates for Children & Youth (LACY). I graduated from UC Berkeley (with Bachelors degrees in Social Welfare and Economics) and UC Hastings College of Law. I also speak Vietnamese and served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Southern California (VABASC). I've also volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children and as a pro bono attorney.
