While at the University of Maryland, Chaz was an Article Editor for the University of Maryland Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender, and Class. He participated in the University of Maryland’s Mediation Clinic during his second year of law school, and mediated various contract and landlord/tenant cases at the Baltimore City District Court. He received the Clinical Legal Education Association (CLEA)’s Outstanding Clinical Law Student Award for his leadership and work with the Mediation Clinic, and was selected by his instructors to help supervise the clinic during his final year of law school..
