No good thing ever happens in court. Most lawyers won't tell you this.. When a new client comes to my office, I do everything in my power to convince them not to involve attorneys. I do not relish helping grownups fight over toys in a sandbox. If I am told, "It's the principal," I ask a prospective client please to articulate said principal. Nine times out of ten, they cannot do so. For those that do come up with an answer, I then ask if the stated principal is worth $100,, which is about the least they can expect to pay for litigation through trial. Clients who have not been through litigation often don't understand that the other side is likely not interested in what's right, what's fair, or what the outcome should be. Rather, the other side is probably interested in one thing: billing fees. (Note: If your lawyer has monogrammed coasters, you are paying too much in attorneys' fees.) Sadly, most lawyers are not in the business of pursuing justice, they are in the business of making money. This should change your cost-benefit analysis before pursuing litigation.. Nevertheless, unfortunately there are times when lawyers become a necessary evil. I am a pragmatist, which is an odd feature in a my profession. My clients know that I am all about efficiency and care about their bottom line. I do everything in my power to minimize fees and expedite results while delivering quality work product. I see zealous representation as a job description. If I do not believe in your case, I won't take it.
I take pride in offering honest answers and straight forward solutions to my clients. I do not get involved in legal matters unless your case is legitimate and has true legal merit. My work and my fees are transparent, upfront, and honest. I encourage my clients to contact me directly, and never pass that responsibility off to assistants. Let me show you what personal legal services are like.
I am a 4th generation native Arizonan and a 3rd generation graduate of both Mesa High School and ASU. My ties to this state and especially the East Valley run deep. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I enjoyed a 16 year career as a business executive in the areas of credit, finance, business development, data management, and mergers & acquisitions. I draw on that experience every day as I advise my business clients.
