Mr. Koense is a member of the Delaware County, Chester County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, and the Doris Jonas Freed Matrimonial Inns of Court.  As a member of the Family Law Section, Mr. Koense was co-chairman of the Protection From Abuse Committee for the Family Law Section of the Delaware County Bar Association (2001 to 2003); chair of the Technology Committee for the Family Law Section of the Delaware County Bar Association (2003 – 2006); Treasurer for the Family Law Section (2007-2009; 2012-present); Vice Chairperson for the Family Law Section (2010); and was the Chairperson of the Family Law Section (2011).. Annemarie E. Ward was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she attended Central High School. She went on to continue her education at Temple University, graduating in 2009 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and distinction in her major.. Annemarie matriculated to Delaware Law Widener University in the Fall of 2015. While in law school she was involved in various student organizations and pro bono opportunities. At Delaware Law, Annemarie focused her studies on trial advocacy and developed strong trial advocacy skills as a competitive member of the Phi Alpha Delta Trial Team and Delaware Law’s Moe Levine Trial Team. Annemarie was also a member of the Delaware Law Moot Court Honors Society, which whom she held the position of Vice President in charge of the New Member Competition. Annemarie was also a member of the George Read Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, serving as Justice of the Executive Board.
