I was born in St. Louis, Missouri where I lived for twelve years. After a two year stay in Glen Carbon, Illinois, I moved to Madison, Alabama. I graduated from Bob Jones High School in 2002 with honors. I received an Auburn Alumni Academic Scholarship to Auburn University. I graduated cum laude from Auburn University in 2006 with a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering and a Minor in Political Science. After that I took the path less chosen and went from Auburn to the University of Alabama School of Law. I graduated from Alabama in 2009 and have been working in the Huntsville area ever since.. As a lawyer, I feel it is our duty to help out those in need. Therefore, while at Alabama, I worked with the Alabama Civil Clinic which allowed me to help college students and individuals in the community who were in need of legal assistance. I have also taken cases from the Madison County Volunteer Lawyers Program in an effort to help those who could not otherwise afford attorneys.. I also feel very strongly about accountability for one’s mistakes. It seems that far too often these days, the focus of a civil case is on how much money an injured person receives, instead of what mistake caused that injured person to become hurt. I believe our juries are important to the American legal system because they hold individuals and corporations responsible for their mistakes.

I received seven best paper awards including: Contracts I & II, Constitutional Law I, Property, State Constitutional Law, State and Local Taxation, and Advanced Evidence. I was also fortunate to serve on the Honor Court and as an Academic Support Mentor. At Cumberland, I had the opportunity to study under one Federal Circuit Judge, two Federal Magistrate Judges, and a Municipal Court Judge. I graduated magna cum laude from Cumberland School of Law in 2020.. My wife Alessandra and I were happy to return to Huntsville after I finished law school. We have made our home here and she is working in outside sales for United Rentals, Inc.. I handle personal injury, property, and civil litigation matters. In every matter entrusted to me, my goal is to provide solutions to my clients' complex legal problems in a reasonable period of time. By returning telephone calls promptly, updating clients regularly, and working harder than others, while displaying courtesy and respect toward clients, opponents, and courts, I work hard to achieve this goal.. ---------------. Having grown up the son of devout educators in rural Madison County, Gary has never forgotten the simple yet enduring lessons of faith, integrity and hard work. As an all-county athlete and avid outdoorsman, he built lifelong friendships and associations with the kinds of people that make up the backbone of our country. However, he also saw how quickly those salt-of-the-earth people can be taken advantage of by large, faceless corporate entities. It was a deep calling to defend the rights of his friends and neighbors that became the motivating force behind Gary's desire to go to law school. Working his way through law school allowed Gary to interact with experienced lawyers and judges while going to school to earn his degree. He honed his courtroom skills amongst some of the greatest litigators in Alabama's history.. To this day, Gary believes the relationship with his clients is one of hallowed privilege within which trust, comfort and mutuality must be established as the structures of success. Once that bridge is constructed, the experience and dignity he brings to your case inspires the confidence that only an attorney of his caliber can offer.
