I am a native of Huntsville, Alabama and currently live in Madison. I attended Huntsville City Schools from Kindergarten until I graduated Huntsville High School.  After graduating high school, I attended the University of Florida for my undergraduate education.  During my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, I studied abroad at the University of Mannheim located in Mannheim, Germany.. After gaining a Bachelor of Arts in German, with a minor in Business Administration, from the University of Florida, I went to law school at the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. I also studied abroad at the University of Durham in England during my time in law school.   I obtained my Juris Doctorate from  the Cumberland School of Law.. I am admitted to practice law in the State of Alabama and also the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Alabama. I am also a member of the National Trial Lawyers, Top 100 Trial Lawyers, the American Bar Association, the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.  I am also a member of the Southeast Land Title Association, the American Land Title Association and my title agency, Madison Title & Closing Services, LLC, is ALTA Best Practices Certified.. I truly enjoy being able to help people deal with legal issues.  Many of my clients have not had any involvement with our legal system and have no idea what to expect when a legal issue arises.  It gives me great satisfaction counseling and advising people when they are having legal diffculties and helping them navigate through a tough time.
