It’s our goal to exceed our client’s expectations. We want to represent them more than just one time. We want to build a relationship with them and be their long-term partners in business.
I spent the first seven years of my career working as a general practitioner in Northeast Ohio where I’ve been a lifelong resident. This experience allowed me to realize my passion for assisting individuals in avoiding the unnecessary complications of estate planning and when necessary making the process of probate as straightforward as possible. This ultimately led me to team up with The Darren Findling Law Firm, PLC to open its Ohio branch. As an attorney at The Darren Findling Law Firm, PLC in Ohio, I am here to assist you with your needs in estate planning, probate administration and other legal matters that may arise in the probate courts of Ohio. I bring effective communication and imaginative strategies to your legal needs to achieve the best results for you.
I represent clients in a variety of matters and am dedicated to each client right from the initial consultation. During this consultation I gather information from my client so that I know how to effectively defend them. From there, I keep an open communication with my clients and even utilize a client management software so that my client can fully see what is going on in their case.
I love the law, but I love people far more. My passion is to use my legal expertise to help hurting people out of very difficult situations. If you are feeling overwhelmed by a financial crisis, I want to be of assistance. I want to listen and understand and then use my God-given abilities to guide you through and out of your trying situation.. I believe in second chances provided by the U.S. Constitution and God’s grace. Most of the time, when people find themselves in my office, it is largely due to circumstances beyond their control.. If I can help you begin anew, live within your means, care for your family, and be able to tithe to your church, that will be my greatest reward.. Bankruptcy law is complex and technical, and folks in the midst of financial difficulties feel overwhelmed. In my office, you will never feel a hint of condemnation or judgment. Nor will you feel like a case file or a number. Cleveland Bankruptcy Attorney, Mona Rubinstein, provides compassionate, realistic advice, and legal representation that is thorough, knowledgeable, fair, and aggressively defends your rights. I hope you will allow me the privilege of assisting you in this difficult time.
I have lived the immigration process and not many lawyers can say that. My first exposure to the complexities of US immigration law occurred when I was empoyed by the United Nations High Commission of Refugees in a refugee camp in Thailand. In the mid 90's the immigration laws changed drastically, penalyzing families in the camp who had already been approved to live in the US for engaging in certain, how can i say, illicit behaviors. Admissions were enough to disqualify families from being allowed to enter the US. This struck me as unfair and very unAmerican. It was during this period of time that i wanted to help those who were stuck in the immigration web.. My further contact with immigration law occurred some years later, again before i was an attorney when i petitioned for my wife for her residency in the United States.
I have devoted my law practice to representing individuals in all manner of workplace disputes, from litigating discrimination and retaliation cases, to filing agency charges, to negotiating severance arrangements. I am also one of few lawyers in Northeast Ohio with experience and expertise in unemployment compensation law.. In addition to my law practice, I also do independent workplace investigations and I have a workplace coaching practice, where I work with individuals who have performance or behavioral issues in the workplace, assisting them to contribute more effectively in all aspects of their work, focusing primarily on communication skills and social + emotional intelligence. I participated in the Coach Training Program at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.. This blend of lawyering and coaching gives me a unique perspective on workplace issues and disputes, and allows me to work with clients in a way that is relational, empathetic, and client-centered.

I am also an avid historian, especially of military history. I have a vast collection of military art, signed by WW2 veterans who served in various branches of the US Armed Forces, the British Army/RAF, as well as in the German Army/Luftwaffe.. Lastly, I have a profound weakness for single malt scotch and good single barrel bourbons and whiskey.
I have been practicing family law for over 29 years in the Cleveland area. My philosophical approach to this practice is to do all that I can to maximize the financial outcome for my client while minimizing the emotional trauma which divorce causes.. To implement this approach I prepare my client's case, both the financial aspects and custodial aspects when minor children are involved. I develop a strategy and organize the details. Creating a solution that meets my client's needs is my goal. This may be accomplished by negotiation or a more collaborative process in which my client and I meet with his or her spouse and their attorney with an eye toward exploration of all of the various possible schemes of resolution in consideration of the circumstances of their situation.. I have also successfully resolved my clients' cases through trial, which is sometimes necessary. As a consequence, I approach settlement negotiations with an eye on what would be a good outcome for my client if the matter is litigated. Someone who is facing a divorce needs an attorney with the skills to both bring a case through trial and\or negotiate a good settlement and who knows how to exercise their judgment collaboratively with their client to choose which course to pursue at any given time.

My office has been located in Independence, Ohio since 1986 and my extensive experience in Probate law and estate planning as well as income tax preparation has allowed me to grow in that area each year. I try my very best to be compassionate and understanding to my client's needs.
I have 22 plus years worth of experience and pride myself in being able to give clients a valid and professional opinion regarding what they can reasonably expect to happen in their case. While no attorney can guarantee an outcome, my experience and knowledge of the courts and prosecutors that I work with gives me a good basis to draw from. I will sit down with you and explain the various options available based upon the circumstances of your specific case and let you make the decision that is best for you.. I receive a lot of referrals from former clients, family and friends and take this trust in my ability to do a good job very seriously.
