I was born in Honolulu and then moved back to Hawaii after college and attended law school here. I left my position at a large, corporate law firm because I wanted to practice law on a more personal level and use my skills to help people resolve their legal problems.. When you hire me, you will be hiring a lawyer who is accessible, responsive, and dedicated to providing excellent client service. I will take the time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. I will explain the legal process and issues to you in plain English and provide a straightforward and honest assessment of your case.. When am not in the office, I am usually spending time with my husband and my two boys. We love to hike the mountain trails around the island, especially any hike that ends at a place to swim! We enjoy cooking dinner and watching movies together. I like to relax by working in my vegetable garden or reading a good novel.

I have represented clients throughout the State of Hawaii and I am so proud to be a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association.  I am experienced in all areas of family law and I also file Chapter 7 Bankruptcies.  My other professional memberships include the Family Law Section on Oahu, the Hawaii Bankruptcy Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and the American Bar Association.   I am also a regular volunteer at the Kapolei Access to Justice Room and Volunteer Legal Services of Hawaii, and I serve as a Volunteer Settlement Master for the Family Court at Kapolei and as an arbitrator for the Court Appointed Arbitration Program with the First Circuit Court in Honolulu.  I have been a lifelong resident of Kailua, Hawaii and enjoy traveling to the neighbor islands, New York City and Japan.  My other passtimes include hiking and spending time with my family.  I truly value all of my clients and assisting them with their legal matters.
