This Blue Ribbon Panel, which included a small number of current and former U.S. Attorneys, as well as former high ranking department officials, public defenders and academics examined how shifting federal prosecutorial priorities can reduce violent crime while also addressing the issue of over-incarceration which culminated in the September, 2014 release of a report entitled Federal Prosecution for the 21st Century.. I was raised with the belief to fight for the little guy and good causes.. When I went to law school, I promised my parents that I would never work for large corporations but fight for people like us. I got interested in employment litigation my first year in law school when my dad was working in a ditch that did not comply with OSHA trenching standards and it collapsed on him. As a result of the accident, my dad has never worked again and has gone through multiple surgeries to repair damage to his knee. As a result of the accident, I clerked for the United States Department of Labor and began to immerse myself in learning laws that protect employees..
