With over 27 years of experience as a trial attorney, Darla K. Snead has the experience you can trust to help you with your legal matter. Her firm is dedicated to tailoring your legal representation to your specific needs. Whether you have a contested case or a case where you would like to negotiate a settlement, Attorney Snead can help you through the complex litigation process or guide you through mediation or settlement negotiations. Although most people recognize that they should have an attorney to fight in court, and fight for their rights, some people think they should just handle a case themselves, or through a paralegal or mediation service, if they are close to agreeing. Most of the time, this is a big mistake and you may be giving up important rights if you don't have an attorney by your side in mediation or settlement negotiations, just like in Court. Attorney Snead provides representation for family law cases on a fixed fee basis for settlement agreements or for mediations. Attorney Snead is also trained and certified in collaborative law. Attorney Snead is a Polk County, Florida native and began her career in the State Attorney's Office in Bartow, Florida.
We have 2 boys, ages 21 and 23, so my “spare time” is spent with them to the extent they have time for the parents. Otherwise, I like to hike and anything water-related (swimming, boating, etc) and as the “Voice of the Highlanders” – public address announcer for our local high school baseball and football teams.

After being born in Winter Haven Hospital is 1966, I have lived in Winter Haven, Lake Alfred, Haines City, Auburndale and Lakeland. I Graduated from Auburndale High School in 1984 and started attending Polk Community College. After graduating from PCC I married Caroline, my high school sweetie, and was promoted from truck loader to Package Delivery Driver at UPS. After having my first child, I realized that I wanted to provide more opportunity for my children so I left UPS and moved into family housing at the University of Florida where I had my second son and obtained my Bachelors Degree. From there, I was accepted into one of the best law schools in the Country so I moved to The Ohio State University. While in Ohio, we learned my wife was pregnant with twins and decided we needed to get closer to family so I applied to Florida State University College of Law and landed an internship monitoring criminal law legislation for the Florida Public Defender Association. We were blessed with twin daughters and I completed my law studies and returned to Ohio for graduation ceremonies where I obtained my Juris Doctorate degree. With the help of four amazing children as inspiration I have been blessed with a loyal client base and solid growth since going into private practice in 2001. I have an "empty nest" now, oldest finished with his bachelor's degree at UCF after a collegiate football career and now the twins are Florida State Cheerleaders! Did I mention I was blessed?
