Before becoming a lawyer I spent a little over eight and a half years in the Army as an Infantry Officer where I deployed to Iraq three times before leaving active duty. That experience has had a huge impact on me and certainly shaped how I address conflicts in my work and personal life. I focus my law practice on helping Veterans in their fight for VA benefits, injured workers, small business owners, and families struggling through difficult times. Because I wasn't always a lawyer, I know it can be hard to find a good one and people usually only look for a lawyer when thing are already bad. Because of that I take pride in taking the time to understand what my clients need, making sure I am avaialbe to them, and working hard to get the best results possible.

Before opening a practice in Laramie I worked at Fleener & Vang, LLC with Tom Fleener and Mike Vang who focused their practices on criminal law, while my focus was family law and criminal law.. A Wyoming native, Marty L. Oblasser attended the University of Wyoming to obtain both her undergraduate and juris doctor degrees.  Marty began her career as an associate attorney in the Legacy Planning Department with a law firm in Casper, Wyoming.  During that time, Marty not only focused on building an estate planning and business law practice but she also engaged in trust litigation matters and successfully argued to the Wyoming Supreme Court.  In January 2015, Marty became a partner with Wyoming's oldest law firm, Corthell and King, P.C.  Marty is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Wyoming as well as the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming. When not in the office, Marty enjoys educating the public about various estate planning and business law matters.  Specifically, has been quoted in over 100 media outlets across the country.  Marty has also had the opportunity to write for WealthCounsel, a national network of transactional and estate law attorneys, CPAs and financial advisors, regarding Wyoming Limited Liability Companies (GreenHunter Energy, Inc.: The Rare Case When the Limited Liability Veil will be Pierced in Wyoming [and Probably in Every Other Jurisdiction]).  Furthermore, Marty has also taught legal seminars for her local community and was invited to present continuing legal education courses to her peers for the Wyoming State Bar and the National Business Institute.
