In addition to his civil practice, Mr. Finkeldei has served as the attorney for the Lawrence (USD 497) and Baldwin City (USD 348) school districts and was the U.S. News and World Report Lawyer of the year in 2013 for Education Law and in 2014 for Land Use Law. He also received multiple honors in law school including being named Order of the Coif, selected as articles editor for the University of Kansas Law Review, and a recipient of the Estate Planning and Tax Procedure awards..
