Kim Tremblay is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School. During law school, she assisted immigrants as a volunteer at the Immigrant Legal Center of Boulder County and for the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network. She conducted research and wrote legal opinions as an intern at the Denver District Court for Judge Herbert L. Stern, III and at the Denver Immigration Court. She also served as a production editor for the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy. While at the University of Colorado, she studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain. After graduation, Ms. Tremblay joined the Large Law Firm where she mostly practiced family-based immigration law. She has represented clients in front of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. Ms. Tremblay was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She later attended McGill University in her native city, graduating with First Class Honours with a BA in anthropology and psychology. Prior to moving to Colorado to attend law school, she worked and traveled in Australia and assisted the Honorary Counsel of Canada in Richmond, Virginia, with consular activities and business-based immigration cases..
