Alec Cannon began his legal career working as a Deputy Court Clerk for the 3rd District Juvenile Court in Salt Lake City. He then enrolled in law school at the University of Oregon, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. During his time in Oregon he clerked for two years for the U.S. Department of Justice's local U.S. Attorney's Office.
