Mr. Vokshori also provided free legal assistance to UCLA students through UCLA’s Student Legal Services program, counseling students on a wide variety of legal issues. Currently, Mr. Vokshori spends his free time assisting low-income tenants fight against illegal evictions and unlawful detainer actions – a troubling corollary of the subprime mortgage foreclosure crisis. He also dedicates time to volunteer at Public Counsel's Consumer Law and Debtor Assistance Projects in providing advice and counsel to debtors that are filing for bankruptcy without an attorney.
Mr. Spiegel is a Patner with Alllred, Maroko & Goldberg. Prior to joining the firm after six years of practice in the Litigation Department at Munger, Tolles & Olson, LLP. There, he argued numerous civil cases in federal and state court, and conducted eight jury trials as a Fellow with the City Attorney's Office. Prior to that, Mr. Spiegel clerked for the Honorable Christina A. Snyder of the United States District Court for Central District of California, and externed for the Honorable Stephen Reinhardt of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, working on employment, discrimination and civil rights cases in both chambers. Mr. Spiegel attended the University of Southern California Law School, where he graduated near the top of his class and served as Senior Articles Editor on the Southern California Law Review.
Mr. Savoy, a native to Los Angeles, graduated from California State University, Northridge with high academic honors. Mr. Savoy attended Southwestern Law School, where he was named to the Dean's List and graduated in the top of his class. Mr. Savoy has worked in both the private and government sectors, where he has gained invaluable experience and connections. While in Law School, he clerked at the Office of the Ventura County Public Defender, as well as the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. In the private sector, Mr. Savoy worked at the Law Offices of Bruce Margolin, a Criminal Defense Firm.. Most recently, Mr. Savoy worked as an attorney for the National Association for the Advancement of Multijurisdiction Practice, a Non-Profit Legal Organization focused on Civil Rights.
