Nancy M. Mr. Caffas also strives to equitably resolve disputes outside of the courtroom whenever possible, and he has negotiated dozens of settlements for his clients.. Prior to joining Roth Jackson, Mr. Caffas was an associate at a small firm practicing civil and domestic litigation. While in law school, he was a legal intern for the Institute of International Banking Law and Practice where he worked primarily on trade-based financial crime compliance and served as student editor for multiple editions of their Annual Review of International Banking Law. Mr. Caffas also worked as a clerk for Violent Crimes and Narcotics Trafficking division of the District of Columbia U.S. Attorney’s Office, and as a summer clerk in the Shanghai office of AllBright Law Offices, where he assisted in EB-5 visa plan requirements for investors looking to immigrate to the United States.. Mr. Caffas was an active member of George Mason’s Trial Advocacy Association, serving as a member of its executive board and competing in multiple mock trial competitions around the country. He was also Associate Editor of George Mason’s Journal of International Commercial Law.
