Prior to joining Roth Jackson, Mr. Caffas was an associate at a small firm practicing civil and domestic litigation. While in law school, he was a legal intern for the Institute of International Banking Law and Practice where he worked primarily on trade-based financial crime compliance and served as student editor for multiple editions of their Annual Review of International Banking Law. Mr. Caffas also worked as a clerk for Violent Crimes and Narcotics Trafficking division of the District of Columbia U.S. Attorney’s Office, and as a summer clerk in the Shanghai office of AllBright Law Offices, where he assisted in EB-5 visa plan requirements for investors looking to immigrate to the United States.. Mr. Caffas was an active member of George Mason’s Trial Advocacy Association, serving as a member of its executive board and competing in multiple mock trial competitions around the country. He was also Associate Editor of George Mason’s Journal of International Commercial Law.
