I attended the University of Vermont where I graduated with an English degree with minor studies in Philosophy and Religion.. After college, I lived abroad; in Taiwan, I started and ran a magazine that served as an educational and entertainment guide to the island. Then I lived in Thailand where I ran Survival Trekking in Chiang Mai, taking intrepid tourists on multi-day "survival treks" through the mountains and jungles of Northern Thailand.. Upon my return, I entered the real estate business and have been involved in title insurance and settlement services throughout Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. for over 10 years now..
