Stephen M. Govin formed the Law Office of Stephen M. Following his undergraduate graduation from Marquette, Stephen turned down playing professional soccer and decided to attend Marquette University Law School and pursue his passion for criminal law.  He put himself through law school by bartending on the eastside of Milwaukee for three years and coaching numerous youth soccer teams in southeast Wisconsin including with Waukesha Spring City Soccer Club, Brookfield Soccer Club and four years as a head coach for the Wisconsin Olympic Development Program (as a player, Stephen was selected to play for the Olympic Development Program and competed for the Olympic Development Program at various national and international competitions).  A number of the players Stephen coached went on to play Division I soccer in college and some even represented their county’s national teams at youth World Cups and other international matches.  While at Marquette University Law School, Stephen focused on criminal law from his first day; unlike many law students who don’t know what area of the law they want to practice, Stephen knew going into law school he was going to be a criminal defense attorney.  Because of his focus on criminal law from the beginning of law school, Stephen was able to tailor his experience at Marquette to take advantage of coursework that would prepare him for the criminal courts.  He excelled in courses on evidence law, criminal procedure, federal criminal procedure, trial advocacy, the constitution and criminal investigation and many others.  Stephen not only focused his coursework on criminal law but he applied for and received a number of clerkships while in law school that gave him real world legal experience even before graduating from law school.  Stephen clerked for the Honorable Victor Manion in Milwaukee County Circuit Court, the Honorable Chief Judge of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals Richard Brown, and spent his last year of law school practicing law at the Milwaukee office of the State Public Defender.  By the time Stephen graduated from Marquette University Law School he had more courtroom experience than many second or third year lawyers.. I have been a trial lawyer since graduation from law school. I find the practice of law exciting. It is my calling. However, this does not necessarily translate into the opponent taking a realistic stance on the issues and this is an unfortunate obstacle to resolution without a trial.. Whenever I am consulted for a legal problem I always encourage my potential clients to interview more than one attorney. Why? Because you should trust who you hire; you must feel confident in communicating the good and the bad facts of your position; and you must feel confident with their knowledge and ability to competently assist you. Charles J. Hausmann is a Milwaukee native who attended Marquette University High School and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison law school in 1971.He and his colleague John F. O’Neill is a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is a member of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.  Patrick has tried 90 jury trials and has settled thousands more out of court. He has tried and settled cases worth tens of millions of dollars for his clients. Patrick has achieved the “AV” peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell which signifies the highest level of professional excellence for lawyers practicing more than ten years.  Patrick is a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.  He also serves as a Milwaukee County Court Commissioner and is a former board member for the Wisconsin Association for Justice.. In addition to being a full-time practicing attorney, Patrick has led seminars for other lawyers on various aspects of personal injury claims, litigation, and trial work and has also been a visiting lecturer at multiple University of Wisconsin System Campuses for undergraduate legal courses.  His expertise includes twenty eight years of working with injured clients who have suffered injuries in automobile, truck, motorcycle, and aviation accidents.. Patrick, a Whitefish Bay Wisconsin native, graduated from Marquette University High School in 1985. He graduated from St. Norbert College Cum Laude in 1989.  Patrick was a member of the Honors Program and was awarded the National Football Hall of Fame Scholarship. He was a two-time all-conference center on the St. Norbert football team. His teams won the Midwest Athletic Conference Championship in 1985, ’87 and ’88, the year he was team captain.  He is a member of the National Football Foundation National Scholar Athlete Alumni Association.. Patrick later attended the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he graduated in 1992. He is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin, New Mexico, Iowa and Illinois. He is a member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. Patrick, his wife Carol have three children and live in Whitefish Bay.  He is an active cyclist in his leisure time.

Attorney Kirk M. Fedewa is an associate attorney with Watton Law Group. His legal practice focuses on consumer bankruptcy in Wisconsin. Mr. Fedewa received his law degree from Marquette University in 2014 and his undergraduate degree in Political Science, History, and Broad Field Social Sciences from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2003. Attorney John F. McNally is a founding member of the firm, an organization that comprises over 100 employees providing a high-caliber network of attorneys, investigators, paralegals and claims specialists in seven states. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from Marquette University High School where he was the state champion and record holder in pole vault in 1962. He earned his B.A. from St. Norbert College, West De Pere, Wisconsin in 1967. While an undergraduate, he participated in track and field. He is a 1971 graduate of Marquette University Law School and served six years in the Wisconsin National Guard artillery unit. After graduation from law school, McNally worked for two years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office. In that office, he honed his courtroom and advocacy skills by trying over 50 major criminal trials. He worked for a while in a Milwaukee law firm. In 1972, he opened his own firm with a former Milwaukee county assistant district attorney and longtime high school friend, Charles Hausmann. The firm’s home office has always been in downtown Milwaukee. In his career, McNally has worked with clients in many areas of plaintiff personal injury law and tried numerous cases before juries. He has settled thousands of cases for clients, many for sums in excess of a million dollars. The firm is now focused on helping clients injured in automobile, motorcycle, truck and aviation accidents. Over the years, the firm has collected hundreds of millions of dollars for its clients. He has obtained this rating for 27 consecutive years. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice and the American Bar Association.. He is active in both church and community activities. He and his wife Susan served as volunteer directors of the Youth Soccer Tournament in southeastern Wisconsin for 20 years. The couple are former co-chairs of the Divine Savior-Holy Angels High School Parent Association. He is past president of the Marquette University High School Alumni Association and chaired the alumni section of the school’s successful “Continue the Mission” fund-raising project in 2007. He was presented the Marquette High Alumni Service Award in 2006. In 2008 he received an award from St. Jude parish for his help in assisting Catholic education.
