Rick represents large foreign employers with operations and offices in Alabama, he advises them on all aspects of immigration compliance and visas, and has represented clients under federal investigation or audit for alleged Form I-9 violations and employment of individuals not authorized to work in the U.S. Rick handles every immigration question, filing, administrative matter or controversy.

More than 30 years ago, he began his law career serving with the Florida Attorney General in Tallahassee, Fla. In 1989, he returned to his hometown of Mobile, Ala. to begin practicing law with an insurance defense firm. Since 1995, Desi’s practice has focused exclusively on the representation of injured victims. During his career, he has tried more than 100 civil bench and jury trials.. A graduate of McGill-Toolen High School, Desi attended Washington and Lee University prior to The University of Alabama. He has served on the McGill-Toolen Catholic High School Advisory Board and the St. Mary School Advisory Board.. Desi was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Association for Justice and currently is on the Executive Committee of the Mobile Bar Association. He is the current chairman of the Mobile Bar Association Civil Practice Committee for State and County courts. I have been practicing law for 31 years, primarily in the areas of Probate Administration, Probate Litigation, Trust Litigation and Civil Litigation.  I take pride in efficiently handling my cases and providing personalized care to my clients.  I am a 3rd generation lawyer, practicing with my father, Ralph G. Holberg, III, (currently in his 60th year) and for a few years with my late grandfather, Ralph G. Holberg, Jr.  I am a native Mobilian having graduated from UMS in 1986, receiving a B.A. in Political Science in 1990 from the University of Alabama and my J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1993.  I practice primarily in Mobile and Baldwin Counties but can practice throughout the State in Probate, Circuit and the Federal Courts.  I am married and have 3 children.  I enjoy and take pride in helping people and if you think I can be of assistance, please let me hear from you.
