Jay Minus practices in the areas of municipal law, commercial litigation and labor and employment. I have practiced law since June of 1988.  I have been happily married for over twenty years to my lovely and understanding wife.  We have a remarkable son who is in college and is the light of our lives.  I have been a Boy Scout leader and have been active on the American Heart Association Board of Directors, the Leukemia Board of Directors, the Mobile Fair Housing Center Board of Directors, the Alabama Lacrosse Association Board of Directors, the Mobile Youth Lacrosse League Board of Directors, and have participated in Legal Services, the Pro Bono Program and support Veterans Recovery Resources.  I taught college at Springhill University and am now coaching lacrosse for youth in Mobile, Alabama.  I have been a lawyer for almost thirty years and I love practicing law and will personally answer your call.

Anne Laurie advises employers concerning all areas of employment law, including, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment issues under Title VII, ADA, ADEA; leave issues under the FMLA; wage and hour issues under the FLSA; OSHA investigations and defending whistleblower claims; drafting employment handbooks; terminations and corrective action plans; preparing confidentiality and non-competition agreements; union avoidance and other training; and defending employment torts, e.g., tortious interference and negligent training and/or supervision claims..
