During this time it became clear to me that the adversarial competition that is set up by the court system has few, if any, benefits for the clients, and fewer for their children. I felt frustrated by the fact that, while I could get people through the court system, there were no tools that allowed me to meet their overall needs. I believe there are processes that fill this void, so I have limited my practice to mediation, Collaborative Law, and drafting Marital Property Agreements.
