I served as Deputy Attorney General, an Assistant Attorney General and Special Counsel for the Attorney General's office.  I was in charge of the division in that office responsible for or worked cases involving consumer protection (from lemons to defrauded franshisees, false or deceptive advertising and claims, people who were taken advantage of, scams, shoddy home repairs, and more), antitrust, non-profits, corruption, and more. Upon leaving the Attorney General's office, I represented individuals, small businesses, non profits, teachers, students and administrators, immigrants, and others in and our of court or administrative agencies or boards.  When a federal, state or local agency targets an individual or business, the individual or business often feels overwhelmed.  We help people understand the issues, defend, and explore their options and have no hesitancy about going to trial or a hearing.  When an individual or business faces thorny legal problems, has been injured or damaged, or needs to defend against a demand or deal with a legal crisis, we stand up for them, fight to ensure their rights, and move aggressively him, her or them.. I founded Monarch Legal so that I could protect the civil rights of all individuals in this country and to help immigrants to get legal status in the U.S. I am here to fight for my client's rights wherever I am needed, from federal court to immigration court to the local Visa office.. In my immigration work, I work with individual immigrants and their families to determine the best way to help, then guide them through the complicated immigration process. I help clients getting permanent residence through employment. I work on family-based immigration and humanitarian cases, such as U visas, waivers, deferred action for childhood arrivals, and special paths to citizenship. I have helped young men and women get DACA and helped undocumented parents of U.S. children be able to stay in the U.S. I also volunteer at the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC), helping immigrants get U.S. citizenship.. One of my primary focuses has been on asylum cases for individuals who are at great risk of being severely harmed and killed if they are deported or removed to their home country.  Some of my clients have been detained by ICE and need help getting bond before applying for relief. Whatever the situation, I look for the best possible solution that fits that specific client's circumstance.. I also do civil rights and appellate work. Given my background drafting memos and opinions for a judge on the Federal Court of Appeals, I know a lot about class actions, constitutional rights, due process, administrative law, and more. I am also skilled at drafting motions and briefs for federal litigation.

Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Adam knew from an early age that he wanted to be an attorney in order to help people in times of need.  He graduated in 2010 from University of Tennessee majoring in political science and a dual minor in history and German language.. In 2012, Adam moved to Memphis, Tennessee in order to attend the University of Memphis Law School.  During law school, Adam had the privilege of clerking for two Shelby County Circuit Court Judges, and was able to see firsthand the practice of law in the real world, and the issues that come through the court system on a daily basis.  After graduating law school in 2015, he worked at a personal injury firm where he handled hundreds of cases and was able to obtain successful results for his clients.. After over five years in Memphis, Adam finally made the move to Nashville in the summer of 2017.  Now, he has the opportunity to provide clients of middle Tennessee with the legal services they need, and to use his knowledge of the law and experience to obtain successful results for his clients.  Focusing mainly on litigation, Adam is happy to take his clients’ cases to trial in order to obtain a fair settlement on behalf of his clients.
