I founded Monarch Legal so that I could protect the civil rights of all individuals in this country and to help immigrants to get legal status in the U.S. I am here to fight for my client's rights wherever I am needed, from federal court to immigration court to the local Visa office.. In my immigration work, I work with individual immigrants and their families to determine the best way to help, then guide them through the complicated immigration process. I help clients getting permanent residence through employment. I work on family-based immigration and humanitarian cases, such as U visas, waivers, deferred action for childhood arrivals, and special paths to citizenship. I have helped young men and women get DACA and helped undocumented parents of U.S. children be able to stay in the U.S. I also volunteer at the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC), helping immigrants get U.S. citizenship.. One of my primary focuses has been on asylum cases for individuals who are at great risk of being severely harmed and killed if they are deported or removed to their home country.  Some of my clients have been detained by ICE and need help getting bond before applying for relief. Whatever the situation, I look for the best possible solution that fits that specific client's circumstance.. I also do civil rights and appellate work. Given my background drafting memos and opinions for a judge on the Federal Court of Appeals, I know a lot about class actions, constitutional rights, due process, administrative law, and more. I am also skilled at drafting motions and briefs for federal litigation.
