Tim is a graduate of ButlerUniversity earning a degree with High Honors in Sociology/Criminal Justice, and a minor in Political Science.  While at Butler, Tim was a member and officer in the Beta Zeta Chapter of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity; a member of Order of Omega, a Greek honorary society; a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociology Honorary Society; and the recipient of the Butler University Sociology Department’s Edwin Sutherland Award, which is given to the student who best shows an aptitude for criminology.  During his freshman year, Tim was a member of the Butler University Baseball Team, and currently enjoys playing competitive baseball in the Indiana Adult Baseball League.. As a person, as a father, husband, son, brother, friend ... I work to find answers when others won't look. I try when others can't. I push forward when others stop. That's been said too, right? Well, I'm like the others that said that same thing then. I take an issue, I analyze and leverage a position, I offer recommendations...legal advice. I can either help someone resolve it amicably or I can advocate as a litigant. I'll challenge anything that's not right, I've never been intimidated in my life.. Other than that, I love to remodel, build and fix things. I love landscaping, working with my hands and actually making a change; improving something. I was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, attending Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where I majored in Political Science and graduated with honors.. While attending law school, I was actively involved with the Moot Court Board, serving as the Moot Court Board Chairman. I received several awards in law school, including the prestigious Leadership Achievement Award, the Frank Harper Achievement Award, and the Moot Court Board Chairman Awards.. After graduating law school, I was a certified legal intern with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, in the Narcotics Division, until I became a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in 2009. During my tenure at the Prosecutor’s office, I started as Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Misdemeanor Court, was promoted to the D Felony division, and was again promoted to be one of the two Gang prosecutors in 2011. I was then assigned as a Major Felony Drug Prosecutor, a position I held until being promoted to Major Felony Division. During my time in Major Felony, I maintained an active caseload of murder, robbery, attempt murder, and aggravated battery cases. I left the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office in the fall of 2015 for private practice in the areas of criminal law, family law, and general litigation.. I also served with the 101st Airborne/Air Assault Division located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and the 2nd Infantry Division in South Korea. In 2011, I re-joined the Indiana Army National Guard as a First Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corp .
