Ryan has worked on behalf of injured South Carolinians his entire legal career, beginning in law school when he clerked for a Columbia personal injury firm for two years. Ryan’s areas of practice include general civil litigation, serious personal injury, premises liability, dram shop, products liability, automobile collisions, motorcycle wrecks, and heavy trucking litigation.. Prior to founding Miller, Dawson, Sigal and Ward Injury Attorneys, Ryan practiced at a mid-sized Charleston law firm where he gained extensive litigation experience in a wide variety of personal injury areas. He subsequently joined another local firm where he helped establish and grow its litigation department. Immediately following law school, Ryan clerked for the Honorable Diane S. Goodstein of the First Judicial Circuit.. Ryan graduated with Distinction from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School where he earned a degree in Business Administration. After college, he attended the University of South Carolina School of Law on a merit scholarship where he served as an Articles Editor on the Southeastern Environmental Law Journal.. Rachel Igdal is an associate at the Steinberg Law Firm. From an early age, Rachel knew that she wanted to be an attorney. Julius “Sam” Hines has been practicing law since 1992. He attended law school at the University of Virginia, where he served on the Virginia Law Review. After law school, Hines joined Buist Moore Smythe & McGee, where he handled maritime, commercial and appellate matters. He has tried many cases and argued appeals in several courts, including the South Carolina Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He is an adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law, where he teaches maritime law topics. Hines is also certified as a mediator by the federal and state courts of South Carolina.

Eric G. Pettis was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he attended Millersville University and earned degrees in Political Science and Economics. In addition to graduating cum laude at Millersville University, Eric also received the A.G. Breidenstine Award as the winner of the university’s best research thesis his senior year.. Upon graduation, Eric enjoyed a short career in politics and state government including serving as the special assistant to the Lt. Governor of Pennsylvania. Altogether, Eric has worked for three different state governments: Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.. After working professionally, Eric decided to pursue his life-long dream of helping those in need as an attorney by attending the Charleston School of law. While in law school, Eric worked for two local non-profits, a small boutique law firm, and the 9th Judicial Solicitor’s Office. Eric also served on the Charleston Law Review where he was later published for his article that addressed Searches and Seizures under the Fourth Amendment. After graduation, Eric was offered a judicial clerkship in the Charleston County Probate Court where he served at the pleasure of the Honorable Judge Irvin Condon among three other associate judges.. Deon Tedder joined David Aylor Law Offices as an attorney in June 2018. He attended South Carolina State University where he graduated from the Honors College, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in Political Science in May 2012. During his college career, Deon had the honor of working in the office of the late Senator Edward (Ted) Kennedy where he assisted on the Health, Education, Labor & Pension (H.E.L.P) Committee. He began advocacy for the underserved as a law student at the University of South Carolina School of Law where he graduated in May 2015. While in law school, Deon served as a Guardian Ad Litem for Richland County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates Program (CASA) and represented indigent clients in courtroom proceedings in Magistrate Court through the University of South Carolina’s Criminal Law Practice Clinic.
