Firm: wh Law

Jessica Hall is a top-rated bankruptcy attorney here in North Little Rock; she and the team at wh Law can do it all.. wh Law concentrates in several practice areas, ranging from bankruptcy to family law. Whether you are looking for a bankruptcy lawyer or need guidance in other practice areas, you can expect a passionate team of lawyers, like Jessica Hall, who is prepared to help you.. Originally from Little Rock, she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Saint Louis University. After a ten year career as a Certified Public Accountant, she became a lawyer and joined wh Law in 2019 in the bankruptcy practice.. Jessica wears many hats at wh Law, but her favorite part of the job is connecting with clients on a personal level and ensuring client satisfaction.. Originally from Little Rock, Jessica chose to attend St. Louis University in part because the neighborhoods and districts of St. Louis reminded her of Little Rock: a big city with small-town feel. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics and had a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant.. Jessica fell in love with the law at the same time she fell in love with her husband, Brandon. Hearing about his workday as the managing partner at wh Law was the push she needed to attend law school. One of the things Jessica loves about being at wh Law is the way they are changing the entire legal field by making everything accessible to our clients. She knows that having to call a lawyer is generally a stressful time, and hopes to have a positive, direct impact on clients during trying and difficult times.. Jessica’s motto is “Eat the Frog.” She learned this phrase my first week of law school, and it comes from a Mark Twain quote: “If it’s your job to eat a frog, it’s best to do it first thing in the morning. And if it’s your job to eat two frogs, it’s best to eat the biggest one first.” She finds that getting the toughest things out of the way first thing in the morning set your day up for success. This motto allows her to attack the day at work so she can be the best mom possible to her four children, Thomas, Andrew, Betty, and Lyla. While balancing a full time job with four kids can be a challenge, it is the small moments that bring her fulfillment.

Firm: Lion Legal Services

I’m Tori! Lion Legal Services is my baby, starting as Leigh Law in a one room walk-up office with little more than a dream and crossed fingers. Our success is a mix of trial and error, sheer grit, and cultivating the right team. Today we are Lion Legal Services – a North Little Rock staple, living our purpose to evolve the way Arkansans feel about lawyers by resolving life’s problems with affordable, transparent, reasonable, no-nonsense legal solutions.. My commitment to reasonableness and practicality is off the charts and my meter for emotions is far below the average human being. I’m the friend that gives smart, realistic advice to actually solve the problem, not just cry about it! My desire to be well-liked is not outweighed by my willingness to defend, persuade, and argue my position, whether in my cases, in business, or my personal life. Opportunity is not given; it’s taken.. I’m a certified mediator and handle many of our mediations, obviously because of my commitment to practicality.. I’m a great trial lawyer and thoroughly enjoy taking cases to court – I thrive on the competition. Winning is my favorite thing, no matter what it is I’m winning! In my ten years as a lawyer, I’ve handled many real estate, business, contract, and other civil transactions and litigation.. Today, all of my time is spent on administration & management of the firm, including client acquisition, billing, HR, that sort of thing. Although, I’m sometimes still brought in to conduct with clients thorough emotion-less cost/benefit analyses of time, money, and stress, compared to likely results of given legal strategies.. Mount Saint Mary, Ball State, and Indiana Universities are my alma maters. My commitment to student organizations was strong in high school – I can’t even remember all of them. I’m a Girl Scout Gold Award Recipient, led a Girl Scout troop for several years in college and law school, took a long break and am back to leading a Girl Scout troop today for my own daughters! You think I’m a good lawyer? You should see me peddle some Cookies.. I was boring, nerdy, and predictable in high school (math parties, anyone?) I bloomed in college, pledging a sorority (Sigma Kappa for life!) and law school was the most fun I’ve ever had – joining, like, no student organizations, drinking a lot, and steadfastly refusing to apply for law review (waaay too much nauseating research of ridiculous & impractical things like “how water law is affected by the rise in popularity of poodle ownership” or other such nonsense). Do not even get me started on the citations! As young as I was in law school, I was lucky in my self-awareness, recognizing the torture of forcing myself into a detailed round box when I’m a big-picture square peg.. I managed to graduate in the top quarter of my class and escape the snow and big city life of Indianapolis to come home where I met and married a Levy boy, who is currently the director of Education at the Civilian Student Training Program on Camp Robinson. My husband is very funny and very laid back. We are literally living the American Dream of a happy, healthy family, seeing a great work ethic and community commitment paying off. I love him more today than the day we married, mostly because he always laughs at my jokes and never makes me do the laundry; and, despite the fact he cried when he found out he was having two daughters. He says a third baby is out of the question because “he doesn’t want a boy bad enough to risk having three girls!”. Today I sit on the Board of Governors of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, the Board of Rock City Rescue (an animal non-profit), and am a member of the House of Delegates of the Arkansas Bar Association. I’ve completed several Leadership Academies, including the ABA in 2013, ATLA in 2019, and Arkansas Business in 2020.. My email is and my cell is

I’m Danielle: I was born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (outside Tulsa), but am a proud Razorback and Little Rocker. Gamma Eta got me through the U of A and Karaoke at the Town Pump got me through law school at Bowen. You can still find my plate at The Flying Saucer and I am (okay, maybe used to be) on a first name basis there as a reigning trivia champ!. My work history includes banks, banks and more banks, which makes sense since my position at Lion Legal Services is handling business, real estate, and other civil cases. All of our transactional cases cross my desk at some point or another, including real estate closings, business formations, landlord evictions, and debt defense; as well as most of our civil litigation cases, including consumer protection work, suing debt collectors for wrongful collection tactics, business dissolutions, fraud, misrepresentation, and breach of contracts.. Lion Legal Services is my happy place with our no-nonsense, team approach to resolving clients’ issues. Unlike most folks, I’m non-confrontational and quiet. Don’t let that fool ya into complacency, though! Details are my jam; my introverted “woman of few words” demeanor complements well the other attorneys on my team who take a bigger picture approach.. Clients are apprehensive, sometimes, that my quiet personality does not belong in the courtroom. Being true to yourself (in and outside the courtroom) is the most effective lawyer-ing technique, trust me. My questioning and arguments are more persuasive because they are not hidden behind superfluous chit chat, talking just to hear myself talk (you know which lawyers I’m talking about!). I’m a proud (and quiet) member of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association.. My personal life is pretty traditional – dogs, plants, husband, and a baby! My son Grissom, craft beer, good food, Razorback sports, and my Emergency Room nurse husband Daniel (Danielle and Daniel..fun right?) are a few of my favorite things.. My email is

I have over 25 years’ experience in workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability.  I served for 9 years as a judge with the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission, and I served for 6 years as Deputy Executive Director of the Commission before receiving my appointment as a judge.  I have represented injured workers in private practice since 2005.  Regardless of the seriousness of your injury, you may be entitled to benefits under the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Law that you have not received.  The severity of work related injuries varies.  However, almost daily, I talk to individuals with injuries ranging from minor injuries to severe injuries which are life altering.  Many of these individuals have not received all of the benefits that they are entitled to receive.  In fact, many injured workers never receive all the benefits that they are entitled to receive unless they have an attorney on their side who knows their rights under the law and who understands how to assure that they receive all of the benefits allowed by the law.  This may be true even if the employer or insurance company has accepted the claim and paid some benefits.  With my experience, I feel confident that I can assure that you receive everything you are entitled to receive. I can also review your situation and assess your potential eligibility for Social Security Disability benefits.

I grew up in the North East Arkansas delta country surrounded by beans, cotton, rice and mosquitoes.  My grandparents are farmers and I initially started in the estate planning field to help them keep the family farm in the family after my grandparents pass, while avoiding as much estate tax as possible. Since then I have helped many farming families including cattlemen, businesses and professional family practices set up their estate plans. We have wonderful clients all over the state. I enjoy my family and hiking with my dogs.

Hi, I’m Elizabeth! I’ve moved around quite a bit growing up, but Dog Town is home and I’m a grad of NLRHS! I’m in Conway with plans in the near future to relocate my husband and two cats—Lilith and Stevie—back to NLR.. My Theatre degree is from UCA, which doesn’t leave a lot of employment options in Central Arkansas. I began working at a local manufacturing company in Conway as a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator after graduating and that led me to law school!. I am a 2019 graduate of Bowen and spent five years at the Pulaski County Assessor’s Office until 2021, when I accepted a position with Lion Legal Services as a litigation attorney.. I grew up off MacArthur when Mojo’s was Andy’s Dairy Freeze and I could walk across the street to the Hostess factory outlet to buy a loaf of bread for fifty cents (and all the junk food my dad would allow). My weekends were spent at Burns Park, playing on the original rocket slide (because if you didn’t leave with some cuts and bruises then you didn’t play hard enough) or watching my younger sister play softball tournaments.. Starlite Diner was a staple at my mom’s house, and it was a sad day for her when the Gettin’ Place permanently closed. I still, to this day, maintain that the Little Caesar’s on Camp Robinson has the best Crazy Bread. This is a major point of contention in my household as my husband disagrees with me, saying the Crazy Bread is the same at all locations, but that’s because he’s from Sherwood and doesn’t know any better.. What drew me to LLS is the fact that it serves the community I was raised in. Hailing from Levy, I’ve seen local businesses shuttered and chain restaurants come and go. I have seen firsthand what poverty does to families, schools, and children. I’ve always wondered how I could give back to the community that shaped me.. Working with this firm, which provides affordable legal services to low- and middle-income clients, seemed like the perfect opportunity. Legal representation should not leave you bankrupt, especially when you are living paycheck to paycheck like my family did during my childhood. Having access to affordable and extraordinary legal services should not be the exception; it should be the norm for hardworking Arkansans.. My Granny, aka my dad’s grandma, raised nine children on her own and was the most brutally honest woman I have ever known. She was a sweet Church icon who would not hesitate to tell someone what they needed to hear without sugarcoating it. I like to think that a bit of her perseverance and her realistic approach to life rubbed off on me, and I connect with Lion Legal because their values are my values too.. My email is – don’t hesitate to contact me to roar to your rescue!

Hi! I’m Kerrigan, Arkansas native, born and raised in the small town of Calico Rock – which I affectionately refer to as “The Hills.” Unless you’re from the area, most people don’t know that Calico Rock is in North Central Arkansas. Almost all my large family (15 nieces and nephews large), still live in or near my hometown, so I visit “the Hills” regularly!. I attended and graduated from the only college I applied to – the University of Arkansas. Starting around junior high, being a lawyer was my career choice. My fate as an attorney was guaranteed once I chose my double majors of communication and Political Science, because those majors limited my choices to the law or education…. And I definitely don’t (I didn’t then and don’t now) have the patience to be a teacher.. One of the only cliché things about me is that I took a “gap year” after completing my undergraduate degree, moving home and working in the legal field to “be sure” about my law school plans. Even commuting over an hour each way that year, in my position at one of the few law firms within a 100-mile radius of home, could not dissuade me from law school (and law school loans)! That’s the kind of tenacity everyone deserves in their lawyer, and the tenacity I have in spades.. My “Street Law” experience that year – a term referring to common legal issues such as criminal defense, personal injury, family law, estate planning, and real estate – foreshadowed my landing at Lion Legal. A firm which, when you drill down to the basics, is a street law firm, founded on the basic principles of resolving everyday life issues with practicality, transparency, & efficiency. We often comment that we are lawyers, not therapists (and that’s true!); but the satisfaction I get from being able to help regular people like me get the best result possible, close that chapter and move on with their lives is maybe kind of close to the empathy required of a therapist? Sharing that feeling of accomplishment and conclusion with our clients never gets old.. My time is mostly spent in the Civil and Probate Divisions at Lion Legal, but my negotiation and creative problem solving skills translate to all Lion Legal practice areas. Little Rock is my home now, where I live with the most spoiled cat in the world, Marty, spending my leisure time on DIY projects and trying (unsuccessfully) to tame my fiercely competitive nature on regular Game Nights.

Hello, I’m Amanda! I am a Central Arkansas native with roots in the Delta and Northeast Arkansas. I love being an Arkansan, and travel is a passion of mine.. After graduating from Pulaski Academy in Little Rock I explored new areas of the country and the world. While attending Vanderbilt for undergrad and then University of Georgia for Law School, I studied abroad in Germany and China. Since graduation I’ve made multiple international trips, most recently to Vietnam. I love adventures but Arkansas will always be home.. Since law school I’ve focused my career on community service. Not long after graduation I started as an Equal Justice Works Legal Fellow for Legal Aid of Arkansas in the Delta office. Legal Aid provided the opportunity to engage with the community beyond the courtroom and to travel extensively around the state for various hearings and legal clinics. After my fellowship and a brief practice in Memphis, I moved to Fayetteville in Northwest Arkansas to work as a Public Defender for Washington County.. Despite four rewarding years in Fayetteville, I accepted a position at the Pulaski County Attorney’s office to be closer to family. It's great to be back home in Central Arkansas!. One thing I’ve learned from my time as a Legal Aid attorney and a Public Defender is that people rarely go to see a lawyer because they are having a good day, so I strive to always approach clients with compassion and honesty. I am an extrovert at heart who thrives on problem solving, and I am not afraid to fight for our clients in the conference room or the court room.. When I’m not busy with work I love spending time with friends, family and any dog I can find. My dream job, other than being a lawyer of course, is to open a dog rescue. I’m also a huge book nerd and love Arkansas history. Anytime you need a recommendation for a great trip around the state just ask!

Brandon grew up in Clarksville, Arkansas, where he learned the most fundamental parts of lawyering: how to solve problems, work smart, and work hard. He also learned the values of respect and trust instilled in Arkansans and holds those values in high regard today.Brandon’s first job was washing dishes at a local restaurant in junior high. Every day, he finished football practice at 4:30 and went straight to work washing dishes that had piled up between lunch and the start of the dinner shift. His first few weeks as a working kid were (understandably) dreaded, but it was at this job where Brandon learned some valuable lessons: Showing up is half the battle; Work can be messy but rewarding, and never live in a house without a dishwasher.. Brandon’s first attempt a solving a complex problem came at the age of 15 with the purchase of a truck that would be his ride when he turned 16. There was just one problem with the truck: the engine did not run. Brandon didn’t let that deter him; that evening he purchased all the parts needed to rebuild the engine. That night, Brandon’s dad asked him if he was ready to build the truck; Brandon replied with a resounding “YES!” His father then put a Chilton’s manual on the table with all the newly purchased parts and told Brandon, “I’ll be back to check on you in a little bit.” It took him all night, and more than a few curse words, but Brandon was able to have the truck up and running before he turned 16. This exercise taught Brandon that if you keep at it (and swear enough) you can figure anything out.. The skills from a small town in Arkansas helped Brandon better understand what it takes to be a lawyer and run a business. He received his Bachelor’s in Business from Arkansas Tech University, his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and his law degree from Bowen School of Law.. It turns out, that getting all those degrees was the easy part! Starting a business and balancing that business with a family is an entirely different challenge. Brandon and his wife Jessica have their hands full with 4 kids: Thomas, Andrew, Betty, and Lyla. The boys are sports fanatics that prefer watching ESPN classics over the Cartoon Network on Saturday mornings. Betty’s favorite pastime is making friends and working a room until all eyes are on her. Betty wakes up with the biggest smile on her face every morning, which is only rivaled by the smile on Brandon’s face when he talks about her. And then there’s Lyla, the baby who very much knows what she can get away with. Lyla is the fiercest and most independent of them all, and it is Brandon’s hope that she stays that way forever. Lyla’s interests include doing everything her older sister Betty does and refusing to go to bed at night.. Brandon is proud of the life he has built and is constantly challenging himself to do better. It is this growth mindset that is the driving force behind wh Law, and what distinguishes Brandon from many other lawyers and business owners.
