I have been in private practice for the past 40 plus years.  In the first 20 years there was  extensive experience in the areas of GENERAL CIVIL LITIGATION, REAL ESTATE, PROBATE, FEDERAL & STATE TAXATION, CORPORATE, PARTNERSHIP, ESTATE PLANNING, BANKRUPTCY, and GENERAL PRACTICE.  All this occurred before my practice began a concentration in the FAMILY LAW LITIGATION ISSUES.  As a result of my back ground and experience, I have developed skills in accounting & legal areas that are involved in every divorce and family law case.  There are few cases where the assets or liabilities are not affected by laws relating to real estate, estate planning, business (corporate & partnership) and taxation.  Experiences in these areas are a definite asset in my practice.

Attorney Michael Doman has practiced exclusively in the area of Divorce and Family Law since 1989.  After graduating from his Master of Laws in Tax program in June, 1985, Michael practiced Tax Law for four years, from 1985 until 1988.. Michael P. Doman was admitted to the Illinois State Bar on October 16, 1984.  Mr. Doman graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in May, 1981; Michael graduated law school from  I.I.T/Chicago-Kent College of Law in June, 1984; and immediately thereafter, completed his Master of Laws in Tax Degree (LL.M) also from I.I.T/Chicago-Kent College of Law the following summer, in June, 1985..
