Attorney Michael Doman has practiced exclusively in the area of Divorce and Family Law since 1989.  After graduating from his Master of Laws in Tax program in June, 1985, Michael practiced Tax Law for four years, from 1985 until 1988.. Michael P. Doman was admitted to the Illinois State Bar on October 16, 1984.  Mr. Doman graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in May, 1981; Michael graduated law school from  I.I.T/Chicago-Kent College of Law in June, 1984; and immediately thereafter, completed his Master of Laws in Tax Degree (LL.M) also from I.I.T/Chicago-Kent College of Law the following summer, in June, 1985.. Michael has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association Matrimonial Law Committee, and the  Chicago Bar Association Matrimonial Law Committee since 1989. He has written over thirty articles for Pioneer Press Newspapers concerning several different areas of Divorce law, including issues discussing Dissipation, Division of Property, Child Custody, Grandparent Visitation Rights, Unlawful Visitation Interference, Removal of Children from Illinois, as well as numerous other Divorce related issues.. Michael Doman has been married since 1995, has been in the Family Law business since 1989, and practices exclusively in Matrimonial Law in Downtown Chicago, suburban Cook County, Lake County, DuPage County, and McHenry County.
