My parents are hardworking immigrants. They raised me and my four siblings in Union City, CA and for a time in Gilroy, CA. My parents taught me the value of hard work, respect for others and to love family. I grew up with a lot of cousins, aunts, and uncles. Some of those folks are blood-related and others aren’t, but my parents never saw any difference and neither do I. When you visit my office or become a client I hope to treat you with the same warmth and caring that I learned from my family. There are many reasons I chose to become an attorney, but what I’ve learned over time is that it’s my love of people and their own story that sustains me. I will take the time to listen to you, learn your story and let you know if I can help. I started my own law office with the purpose of helping normal people solve problems that may seem hopeless. Contact me. I hope I can take the weight off your shoulders. The first consultation is free. Most of the cases I take I don’t charge any attorney fees up front, but if the case settles or we win at trial then you agree to pay me.
My approach to each family law case is specifically tailored to the needs of each client. Some cases require aggressive litigation, while other times, settlement is the best (and cheapest) choice for all involved.. As your attorney, you can expect me to give you guidance based on the law, and to be transparent with you about your options. My role is to advise you, but not to make decisions for you. I enjoy partnering with my clients to get them their desired outcome.. I am also very responsive to client communication. I pride myself on keeping you updated - daily when needed - on the goings-on in your case. It is my job to demystify the litigation process, and help you achieve your legal goals.

Most people think estate planning is simply passing wealth to your heirs tax-free. But this makes estate planning sound as if it is for the super-wealthy when in fact it applies to everyone. Although planning for death and taxes are important, it is just one aspect estate planning.. When individuals create an estate plan their primary goals should be (1) protecting their assets; (2) ensuring their affairs (personal and financial) are efficiently managed upon their incapacity and death; (3) conflicts between beneficiaries are minimized; and (4) taxes are minimized.. As an estate planning attorney, I counsel clients on these issues. I advise them on the necessity and the method of creating a plan that will manage their financial and personal affairs in the most legally efficient way possible and I help them create a legacy for their beneficiaries.. Sometimes, however (no matter how thorough the estate plan), legal disputes arise over the disposition and administratoin of an individual's estate. And when that happens, I represent beneficiaries and fiduciaries through all phases of litigation, including discovery through trial. Such disputes include issues as to the validity and interpretation of a trust or will, and breach of fiduciary duty claims against an executor or trustee.
