My name is Jason Richards, and I am an attorney in Northern Utah. I live in Davis County with my wife and three children. I run my own practice and have offices in Ogden and North Salt Lake. I grew up in Ogden and attended local public schools. I graduated from the University of Utah Law School with a juris doctorate degree. My practice primarily centralizes on criminal defense, bankruptcy and child welfare have also helped hundreds of clients renegotiate their debt and defend them in debt collection actions with ruthless creditors. If not dealt with promptly and aggressively, creditors will achieve their goal to collect. Bankruptcy is certainly not the solution for everyone. Everybody's situation is different. The best way for you to determine if it is right for you is by consulting with a local bankruptcy attorney. Bankruptcy has helped millions of Americans receive a fresh start and financial independence. When not practicing law, I enjoy running, college football, baseball, and playing with my two toddlers and baby.
My name is Glen Neeley; I am currently one of two Board Certified DUI Defense Lawyers in Utah and I focus most of my practice on DUI and Drug offenses. I have spent my twelve plus years of practice on the defense side. I began to focus on DUI cases in late 1999 and early 2000 after becoming a member of the National College for DUI Defense. I have hundreds of hours of continuing legal education on criminal law issues and specifically on DUI defense.. I have been married to the love of my life since 1995. We have three beautiful and ambitious daughters. I grew up in the Ogden, Utah area. I am a religious man and served the Lord on an LDS Mission for two years in Canada preaching the Gospel. I also served my country for 8 years in the United States Air Force. My family and I are blessed to live in Ogden and have many close family members and friends who we enjoy spending time with often.. Because my practice focuses on DUI defense, I often speak and lecture to other lawyers about how to defend a DUI case. I have been interviewed by several TV stations, newspapers and other local media in cases and issues involving DUI or other intoxication issues.. My goal is to focus on each case that I take and provide personal client attention. I try more cases in a year than most criminal lawyers try in ten years and I believe that is for several reasons. I really enjoy my work. I enjoy standing up for the person who cannot stand up for himself. In most cases, I build a friendship with my clients. I believe in people and their humanity. If I can help them in their time of stress, I want to do whatever I can. I enjoy trials. I enjoy the stress that comes with being in trial and the feeling of being alive and giving of myself. I believe that when I walk in that courtroom, as arrogant as this might sound, I am in charge and the goal is to help my client.

Like so many families out there, my parents when through a divorce when I was a kid. I lived with my father and the divorce caused a huge financial strain on us. My dad went from supporting one household to supporting two and he just couldn't do it. This was hard on him because we were a proud family. We believed that if you incurred the debt, you paid the debt. This just wasn't possible anymore.. My father had to make the decision as to whether he would file bankruptcy or not. While I know the difficulty for him was huge, I am so glad he eventually filed. It allowed our family to get a fresh start and he was able to help put my sister, brother, and I through college.. He was a relator and no one was putting away for his retirement. His retirement consisted of buying rental homes. Since his bankruptcy, he has been able to start over completely and has now since retired owning several rental properties. I learned trough this process the mercy of the bankruptcy laws and the weight that a bankruptcy can lift from a family.. My family has been there and as a result, I want to help others find the same relief my family received.

I have been working with Kent for approximately 5 years now. While we’re casual in dress and demeanor, we’re anything but casual when it comes to getting our clients the best bang for their buck.. Representing clients is not my only pass-time, however. I love playing competitive volleyball. There are few things as satisfying as a perfectly timed spike that smashes the ball into the ground with the full weight of your swing behind it.. I also love the sense of control that comes from placing a volleyball, or a creditor, exactly where you want them.. Oh and about my name, when you are the seventh in a patriarchal lineage, a nickname is almost necessary. At an early age, I was given the nickname of 7, but in German. That is why I go by Sieben -- it sounds like Steven, but it's not.

Divorce and Custody cases are some of the most difficult and important matters that an attorney can handle, as the outcome will affect you and your family's lives for years to come. As such, I take my responsibility as your counsel seriously. I realize that every case is different and have the experience necessary to recognize that some cases require a compassionate resolution where others require a fight and the gloves must come off. It is important that you hire an attorney that has the experience to recognize this difference, not only to save you money but to protect your piece of mind, your financial future and most importantly, the emotional well being of your children.. As a Criminal Defense Lawyer, I know how this is also one of the worst times of your life. I can assure you that the doomsday scenarios that you have in your head, are unlikely to occur. As Mark Twain said, "I have experienced many things in my life and some of them actually happened." Said another way, stop talking to your friends and get out of your head. I know how to help you. I began my career doing criminal defense and have never stopped. This includes all crimes, especially the technical and scientific nature of The crime of DUI. Many claim to be "experts" in this area. I will just tell you that I have received extensive training above and beyond most attorneys that make this claim and urge you to call me before retaining anyone else. Also, never forget, the first 10 days are crucial to your case so do not hesitate to call.. Finally, I have spent my years as an attorney helping injured people get the restitution and payment for what they have gone through. If this is you, know that I have a streamlined method of handling your case and will not waste your time and will earn every penny that I receive. Of course, I will receive nothing in these types of cases unless we obtain a settlement or win at trial. We are in it together and I will fight for what you deserve.

After nearly ten years in the field of family law and fifteen years of mediation I have grown frustrated with the perpetual cycle. On a regular basis I represented husbands or wives in their efforts to dissolve their marriages. On rare occasions, because they come up rarely, I was asked to mediate with a couple that wanted to stay married. In these rare cases when both partners to the marriage came to me to help resolve their marriages, it worked! I celebrated the fact that the couple had survived the potential snare of believing ending their relationship would actually make life better.. I will clarify that there are cases in which divorce is unfortunately healthy for all parties involved, but in the vast majority of the cases I have worked with, which probably are in the hundreds, I am positive that the regular outcome was an enhanced status of instability, frustration, and perpetual conflict, which only increased, in some cases, when a new spouse or partner entered the picture.. This lead me to ask, "Why don't I help couples stay together? Why don't I help families make it work?" I realized that one person, would pay me thousands of dollars to end the marriage. Why wasn't it likewise true that couples might pay thousands of dollars to fight for their marriage. I will also end that thought with collaborative couples fighting for their marriage won't have to pay thousands of dollars. They will learn how to approach conflict, reach agreements, set goals, and become effective partners in dispute resolution and a successful marriage.. So, I am inviting you NOT to get divorced. Call me! I will work hard for your marriage. You loved the person you married. You may wonder if that person still exists. You may doubt that they can ever change. You may not care, but I'm telling you from experience that your life will not be generally better by ending this relationship. I believe in marriage and believe individuals can work for the preservation of the institution of marriage.. I will willingly mediate the following issues for couples, even those who are divorced, already or who have not married but have children together:. Couple issues, i.e. staying married, preserving the relationship, affairs/adulty, etc.. Parent-time/Visitation Issues. Custody Disputes. Finanical/Budget disputes. Step-Parent/Step-family issues. Parenting Agreements, i.e. helping parents agree on parenting approaches. Parent/Child conflicts, i.e. conflicts between parents and children. Probate Disputes. Extended Family Disputes. Etc. Additionally, I will consult and mediate as a mentor. I believe some parents don't understand how to personally engage in conflict, parenting, marriage, or partner relations. I can help that individual learn to mediate family conflicts, negotiate with children or a spouse or partner. I want to help you make it work!
