I worked at labor-intensive jobs for 12 years before I was injured at work in 1994, and went through the worker's comp process myself, including the vocational process and hearings.  Following closure of my claim, I enrolled in college full-time, got my bacherler's degree and then my law degree.  I wanted to use my personal experience to help others in similar situations..
