Burns practices mostly in the areas of Divorce, Child Support, Parental Responsibility and Timesharing.  She is an owner and partner at of Burns Sheppard Favors.  Erica is originally from a small suburb outside of Buffalo, New York.  Erica has resided in Florida since 2004.  Erica is a current member of the Orange County Bar Association, Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and National Bar Association.  Erica is also a philanthropist.  She is the Co-Founder and Vice President of a non-profit organization called Life Beyond Adversity.  Life Beyond Adversity was created in 2016 and is aimed at changing the trajectory of inner city youth through exposure to professional environments.  Her connection to the community makes her equipped to deal with familial issues.  Erica is extremely passionate about helping people and it shines in her work with her law firm clients and children involved in her non-profit.

Donna C. Hung focuses her practice in the areas of Family Law, Collaborative Practice, and Mediation. Her career includes working as a former Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Orange and Osceola counties. As a former prosecutor in Orlando and Kissimmee, Ms. Hung conducted numerous criminal jury trials, a majority of which resulted in guilty verdicts. Additionally, Attorney Hung prosecuted and handled over a thousand criminal cases. Based on her stellar performance, she was chosen to be a special prosecutor handling all aspects of domestic violence, beginning at the intake level, continuing to the trial level and finishing at the violation of probation level and beyond. Donna was even designated by the 9th Judicial Circuit’s State Attorney to sign charging informations, a designation given only to a select few. The cases Donna dealt with as a special prosecutor were domestic in nature and included domestic violence batteries, assault, stalking, harassing phone calls, violations of domestic violence injunctions, and violations of pre-trial release conditions.. Attorney Hung truly enjoyed litigating in court and because of her impressive courtroom presence and trial skills, she was offered an associate position at a Winter Park law firm where she quickly realized family law and criminal defense were her passion. Determined. Dedicated. Focused. As an attorney, and as a person, I am defined by these characteristics. Born in Iowa to two teachers, I relocated to Florida with my mother when I was six years old, two years after my father passed away. The daughter of a single mother, I was also an older sister, who strived to be the second set of hands my mother needed. I was determined to be the best I could be in everything I did, was dedicated to succeeding in school, and was focused on my path to a successful future.. My determination, dedication, and focus followed me when I attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, where I graduated with a double major in Elementary/Deaf Education in 2004. One year after this I graduated from the University of Florida with my Masters Degree in Education and proceeded to teach Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for the following three years. I will always be a teacher at heart, but something was missing. In 2008, my inner drive to do more to help others took over and I began my path to a law degree. In 2011, I graduated with my law degree from the University of Florida and passed the Florida bar that same year.. I began my career as a lawyer for Florida's Guardian ad Litem Program advocating for the best interests of children who had been abused, abandoned, or neglected. However, again my determination, dedication and focus took over and I decided to expand my law career and took and passed the Kentucky bar. I am now a licensed lawyer in the State of Florida and the State of Kentucky. After more than five years with the Guardian ad Litem Program, I joined JMP Law, P.A.. Although I now have the words “Attorney at Law” behind my name in two states, I am so much more than this. I am a daughter, a sister, and a wife. I am a dedicated, determined, and focused individual that wants to use these characteristics to help others in need of advocacy.
