Over twenty years ago I started my own DUI criminal defense law firm in Orlando called Private Counsel, LLC.  Private Counsel is a private law firm with sections dedicated to all criminal defense work, Assault an Battery/Domestic Battery Defense, traffic tickets, with an emphasis on helping people accused of DUI. I also assist UCF students who have found themselves in trouble at UCF for Golden Rule violations or .02 BAC DMV suspensions.. My practice is focused on DUI and CRIMINAL DEFENSE.

He then served as President and corporate attorney to his family's food and paper goods distribution business in central Florida from 1994 until 2002. Mr. Sheffler returned to the full time practice of law as an associate with the Law Offices of Robert B. Worman in 2002. In January 2006, he became a shareholder and partner in the firm now known as Worman & Sheffler, P.A.. By having been intimately involved in the daily operations of the wholesale distribution business, Mr. Sheffler developed a working knowledge and familiarity with issues involving credit analysis, open account sales, warehousing and varied business matters that gives him a unique understanding of many of the business issues facing his clients.. Mr. Sheffler has conducted several seminars on such topics as business credit analysis and debt collection under Florida law as well as Florida's Construction Lien Law. He has also lectured for the National Business Institute.. Mr. Sheffler has been active in many community and civic organizations, and in 2006 and 2007 volunteered as a member of the Executive Steering Committee for AAU Baseball for the state of Florida.

I have been licensed as an attorney since September 1995.  I graduated from the University of Alabama in 1995.  I went to work as a criminal prosecutor for a District Attorney's office in Central Alabama.  After a couple of years (and 16 jury trials) I started my own practice.  In 2000, I moved to Florida and began working in the medical malpractice defense and general insurance defense field.. I presently practice in the areas of insurance coverage, SIU, property coverage and liability claims, auto liability and bad faith litigation.
