I married my high school sweetheart Cheryl Bianucci in 1984 and 35 years later we are as happy as ever.  Our oldest Daughter Kylie recently married her college sweetheart Mitch, our daughter Abby attends UNR, and our son Drew is preparing to spend two years in Africa giving service to the people of Ghana.. I love spending time with my family, watching my kids develop their talents, and when I can find a little free time, fly fishing.  I consider the amazing Truckee River flowing through the heart of our town as a gift to be enjoyed and protected.  Since I don’t often find time to fish, I like to grab a sandwich to eat by the river while I enjoy its beauty.

Holly E. Mr. Funk has represented a wide variety of clients across Nevada.  Mr. Funk’s primary clientele includes high net worth individuals and closely held businesses on a local, regional, and national level.  During his time with Gunderson Law Firm, Mr. Funk has represented businesses owners, debtors, creditors, guarantors, secured parties, landlords, tenants, contractors, real estate brokers and agents, homeowners, and many others.  Mr. Funk has appeared before state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.  Mr. Funk has tried non-jury commercial litigation matters as lead counsel, in addition to serving as co-counsel in other trials and dispute resolution proceedings.. Prior to joining Gunderson Law Firm, he earned his Juris Doctorate Magna Cum Laude at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas  where he was on academic scholarship throughout his education.  While in law school, Mr. Funk earned the top grade in Trial Advocacy, Sales and Leases, Advanced Legal Analysis and Writing, and Secured Transactions.  Mr. Funk also interned for Honorable Judge Patrick Flanagan at Washoe County District Court and served as a summer law clerk for the Gunderson Law Firm.. PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. Mr. Funk is a board member for the High Sierra Lacrosse Foundation.  The Foundation is a non-profit seeking to promote and develop the game of lacrosse as an integral part of the education process making it equally available to both boys and girls.  Mr. Funk is also the head coach of Reno High School’s boys lacrosse program serving not only as a coach at his Alma Mater, but also as a mentor to the players.  He is an active player and member of the Reno/Tahoe men’s club lacrosse team—the Tahoe Dawgs.

Before forming Lance White Law, I was an owner and partner of Widdis and White, a family law firm.  Prior to that, I served as a Family Court Master for the Second Judicial District Court in Washoe County. In that role, I heard over 16,000 cases involving a myriad of family law issues, including child support enforcement, domestic violence and protection orders, juvenile guardianships, and juvenile dependency cases. I also have experience with juvenile delinquency, divorce, custody, visitation, and adoption cases.. In deciding a case, a judicial officer must know the law, know the facts, and be able to understand both sides of every argument. I carry that ability with me into private practice. I will give you an objective, honest opinion about your case and not just tell you what I think you want to hear.. I attended Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. After I graduated, I served as a Judicial Law Clerk to three different Family Court Judges here in Reno, Nevada. Through that experience, I came to realize how important the “legal" side of the family legal system is, and how important it is to have a strong and compassionate advocate on your side.. I have been licensed to practice law in Nevada since 2006 and have appeared in Federal Court and State District Court throughout the State of Nevada.   I have also served as a Judicial Law Clerk to three different Family Court Judges. My greatest adventures have been climbing in Antarctica, hiking Monte Fitz Roy in Argentina, skydiving, and parenting two rowdy boys - the most dangerous and important adventure of all.

Mathew is an adoring husband to his wife, Kalie Work, a Washoe County elected official, and loving father to his brilliant and savvy daughter, Kennedy.. Attorney Kendra Jepsen is a Nevada native, raised in the Reno-Sparks area. She attended Bishop Manogue Catholic High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in History at the University of Nevada, Reno, maintaining her listing on the Dean’s Academic Honors list for four consecutive semesters.. After graduation it was important for Kendra to remain in Nevada to continue her graduate education. She was accepted into the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she earned her Juris Doctorate Degree and subsequently passed the Nevada State Bar to become a licensed Attorney in the state of Nevada.. Kendra has long had a passion for Family Law and Justice. During Law School she served as the Executive Vice President of the Public Interest Law Association and was a Student Attorney at the Family Justice Legal Clinic.. Additionally, Kendra worked as a law clerk for the Federal Public Defenders office, The Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, as well as interned for Nevada Legal Services, and The Supreme Court of Nevada.. Once licensed Kendra began an AmeriCorps Legal Fellowship with Nevada Legal Services in which she represented underserved clients with record-sealing and helping overcome other legal barriers to employment. Kendra very quickly became the “go to” authority within the Southern Nevada legal community for her knowledge with this niche legal service.. Settling in Reno was always the goal. Kendra was selected out of a highly competitive field to work as a Law Clerk in the Washoe County Second Judicial District Court for the Honorable Egan Walker. Judge Walker presided over Department Two of the Washoe County Family Court, and Kendra became a quick study of the Family Court system in Northern Nevada, gaining knowledge and insight of different Family Law issues that can only be garnered from this unique perspective. When Judge Walker was appointed to Department Seven of the Second Judicial District Court, Kendra followed Judge Walker to the general jurisdiction and remained his Law Clerk for the remainder of her term..
