I married my high school sweetheart Cheryl Bianucci in 1984 and 35 years later we are as happy as ever.  Our oldest Daughter Kylie recently married her college sweetheart Mitch, our daughter Abby attends UNR, and our son Drew is preparing to spend two years in Africa giving service to the people of Ghana.. I love spending time with my family, watching my kids develop their talents, and when I can find a little free time, fly fishing.  I consider the amazing Truckee River flowing through the heart of our town as a gift to be enjoyed and protected.  Since I don’t often find time to fish, I like to grab a sandwich to eat by the river while I enjoy its beauty.

I joined Laxalt & Nomura in 2008, and am now a junior partner in the firm.  I consider myself a tenacious and effective litigator, but also pride myself on evaluating and advising my clients on the practical effects of a particular course of action, in addition to the legal issues that confront them.  My goal is to provide you with the best possible representation in an effective and cost-efficient way.. I have been practicing law for the last decade, and absolutely love it. I got a bit of a late start, spending time as a correctional officer and a network engineer before deciding what I want to be when I grow up. I graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law at the age of 38. My first 8 years of practice were at the Washoe County District Attorney's office. I have worked the last two years with Joey Gilbert Law as the head of the criminal law department. I am now opening my own office with the help of my loving and supporting wife. I will be focusing on criminal law, but will also handle personal injury, immigration, and select business law cases.
