“Having your back, it’s our job.” This is the mission of our team at the Yashinsky Law Group, LLC. We work tirelessly to ensure your back is covered when it comes to a personal injury. We focus on the practice areas involving car wrecks, trucking accidents, negligent security and a variety of premises liability. Ours is a unique law firm because we work as a team, not a singular injury lawyer. Our common goal is to get you the compensation you deserve. I will enlist any help we might need, whether it be expert witnesses, medical consultants or associate other lawyers when the job requires it. Our job is to get you the best recovery possible and the justice you deserve.
Whenever someone asks me about the purpose of my practice, I respond with a simple word: hope. Now, I understand that hope probably isn’t the first word that comes to mind when you think of a lawyer, but for me, hope is involved in all that I do.. To help clients find success, I start by asking every single one of them the simple question, “How can I make life better for you?” I want to identify those issues causing them the most stress. By identifying these issues, I am equipped to understand and serve their specific needs. This is why our firm’s slogan is “Custom Solutions. Happy Clients.”. I start by listening to their stories in order to build an honest and empathetic relationship with them. It is only after accomplishing this that we create a custom plan to serve their individual needs. It is not a one-size-fits-all service we provide; building these relationships takes time, commitment, and a genuine understanding of each client’s situation. It is an investment, and it is what makes us different from other attorneys. Most importantly, our methods help us restore our clients’ lives through hard work, encouragement, and hope for the future. From the first day we started our firm, we have been intentional about the legal services and experiences we offer our clients, and we try to exemplify those aspects in everything we do.. Between the technology and resources, the personalities of our hard-working team, our honest and genuine methodology, and even our modern architecture and bright decor, we constantly work to ensure that our office exudes the hope we want clients to feel when they come to us for help. Throughout our combined 25 years of experience, our team has discovered that what we do is 60 percent legal guidance and 40 percent life guidance. We are so much more than just a group of lawyers operating a business. We are human beings who genuinely want to help others get their lives back.

Practicing law, especially criminal law, is not just a job; it is a calling. I truly love what I do. There are few other professions that allow an individual to help another person as directly as practicing law. I love to help people and I love criminal law. Therefore I feel truly lucky to be a criminal defense attorney.

Nicole Crites began her legal career all the way back in high school when she participated in Volusia County's Teen Court Program. This program is designed as a diversionary program for juvenile defendants with minor criminal charges. Nicole volunteered as a teen prosecutor and went on to win Prosecutor of the Year in her county.. Nicole's commitment to service continued into adulthood, when she became a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for Alachua County. Having not even started law school yet, Nicole had plenty of experience making court appearances, speaking to judges, and confronting uncomfortable truths in pursuit of the best interests of the children she served. It was through these experiences that Nicole solidified her desire to help families going through tough times, and more specifically, help the children of families going through tough times.. Nicole received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 2011 and went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law. While in law school, Nicole participated in the prosecution clinic and worked in the Domestic Violence Unit of the State Attorney's Office in the Eighth Judicial Circuit, seeking justice and, most importantly, safety for the victims of domestic violence.. After being admitted to the Florida bar and working in domestic relations in Florida, Nicole decided to move closer to her family in Atlanta. Nicole continued to work in domestic relations law after her move and has frequently litigated complex matters, involving trusts, closely held businesses, complicated child custody matters, and equitable division of assets whose value is difficult to ascertain. Nicole fervently believes that it is best for children if their parents can resolve issues through a collaborative and non-adversarial approach. However, Nicole recognizes this approach is not always feasible for certain litigants and has developed an assertive and confident style of litigation in the courtroom. Nicole understands that there is wisdom in the Art of War, and that a long-term strategy, not short-term tactics, leads to the best results for clients. Nicole doesn't engage in foolishness which only serves to drive up costs and instead focuses her calm demeanor and patience to formulate a strategy designed to get her clients to the end of their litigation with favorable results.. Nicole worked as a professional chef while in undergraduate school and law school, and has brought those skills home. When she is not being a lawyer, she enjoys cooking five-star meals, and being home with her three dogs and two kids.
Linton began practicing law immediately after graduating from The University of Georgia School of Law. Taking a position as an Assistant Public Defender with the Enotah Judicial Circuit in Dahlonega, Georgia gave Linton the courtroom experience he was looking for. Being able to represent those that would otherwise have their voices stifled by experienced government prosecutors is what gave Linton the confidence to push and work his cases until the desired goal had been achieved.. After leaving the Public Defender's Office, Linton began private practice in the metro-Atlanta area. He has regularly appeared in each of the state and municipal courts in Fulton, Cobb, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Cherokee, Paulding, and Douglas Counties. Having handled hundreds of criminal cases, Linton has developed a keen understanding of what it takes to successfully take a matter from arrest through trial.. Jamie Hernan has spent his career representing thousands of individuals and companies, helping them face complex legal issues head on, offering solutions and providing results. His career has taken him from a large, internationally renowned firm to building from scratch with two partners a firm into a strong medium sized firm that is the dominant player in its niche market to where he is today as a solo practitioner, finally able to focus purely on the practice of law without all of the distractions that come from managing a larger firm. Jamie is able to focus on you, his client, and he works hard to develop long term relationships built on a strong foundation of trust. After all, that is what most clients want – the focused attention of their attorney. And, of course, they want accessibility. Clients of Jamie have his personal cell phone number and know they can reach him whenever they need him.. After obtaining degrees from the University of Georgia in 1995 and Auburn University in 1996, Jamie graduated from Duke Law School in 2000. He is licensed to practice law in Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee.. Jamie believes strongly in the need to protect individual civil rights and the Constitution from legislative dilution, having advocated for years against unconstitutional local ordinances and state and federal legislation. He has served as the advocacy chair of the Atlanta chapter of AILA, a member of the legal committee of a major civil rights organization, board member to various grass roots organizations and as a member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Access to Justice committee.
I truly enjoy practicing law, and helping clients solve legal issues. When I meet with someone, I make it a point to explain legal issues in an understandable way.. If we are discussing a complex Will or Trust, or maybe a holding company structure for a business, I usually draw a diagram on the whiteboard during our meeting, which helps to clarify the legal structure in a more practical way.. Many clients have told me that they really appreciated the way I was able to make the legal process understandable and "painless" for them.. I am also especially sensitive to the need for caring advice when assisting clients who have experienced the loss of a loved one, and need help with Probate of an estate.. My commitment is to provide legal work of the highest quality: carefully drafted, personalized Wills, Trusts, Contracts, LLC Operating Agreements, etc. My work is focused on each client's unique situation and personal goals.. Away from the office, I love spending time outdoors, and have a lot of fun with mobile apps and new technology.
I specialize in representing clients who have experienced an event that will likely result in either criminal prosecution or civil litigation. As your attorney, I will use my analytical and communication skills to strongly advocate on your behalf to law enforcement, the legal community, and other interested parties. I have successfully defended many clients who have faced a variety of criminal charges, both of a felony and misdemeanor nature, and I recognize that being charged with a crime does not mean that you are guilty. Additionally, I place emphasis on individual attention and open dialogue, which allows me to fully understand your range of legal needs, whether criminal or civil, and to develop a comprehensive solution to address them.
I specialize in criminal defense. I have never practiced any other type of law and, honestly, I don’t think I ever will. My mom always tells me that ever since I was young, I hated seeing anyone being picked on and I would immediately jump to their defense. My disdain for bullies has turned into my passion for protecting people’s rights and fighting for justice. Regardless of guilt or innocence, in my opinion, each person deserves to be treated with decency and respect. Nothing is more upsetting to me than watching prosecutors take advantage of vulnerable people. Which is why I believe it is my job to make sure that police and prosecutors are lawfully doing their jobs.. My clients trust me because they know I am 100% on their side and I am dedicated to getting the best possible outcome for them. My practice is to keep my clients informed of the status of their cases. I like to discuss defense strategies and get input from my clients because I want my clients to be involved in their defense and be comfortable with the way their case is being handled. I’m not the kind of attorney that does what I think is best, regardless of how my client feels. I take my job very seriously because being responsible for someone else’s freedom is no joke. If you are looking for an experienced criminal defense attorney, who will protect you and fight for your freedom, your search is over. I am here to help.
I offer experience, professionalism, and satisfactory results. As a former prosecutor of felonies and misdemeanors, I have worked as lead counsel on thousands of criminal cases and trained with police officers and prosecutors across the State. I am well equipped to handle all cases on your behalf. I am experienced in DUIs, drug possession cases, domestic violence, and traffic cases.
I joined Rosen, Sokol & Clements, Immigration Law Group (formerly Joseph H. Rosen, Immigration Law Group, P.C.) in 2006. I have been a Senior Attorney at the firm since 2015.. I have an extensive knowledge and experience in immigration law field. In addition to working with all aspects of family-based immigration cases, consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, and naturalization applications, I specialize in working with foreign athletes, entertainers, and artists of extraordinary ability. I assist foreign professionals and U.S. businesses seeking to employ foreign professionals; foreign investors and entrepreneurs. I have an extensive experience in assisting corporate clients file for permanent labor certifications in the process of obtaining Legal Permanent Resident status for employees.
I have had a successful general, family oriented, sole-practice for over 25 years where I have represented thousands of clients charged with criminal misdemeanor and felony charges (including Murder). In the last 5 years though, I have broadened my areas of practice to include more personal injury cases, and family law cases (divorce and child custody/support), contract disputes, and some collections work. With that said, civil litigation (domestic and personal injury) is the direction that I am most interested in going, but I will always have a strong criminal defense background should the need arise.. In a nutshell, I am a passionate and intense, intuitive but realistic, case strategist with a gift of insight which allows me to find creative and often unique ways to either “win” or at least positively “benefit” my clients in plea negotiations, at trial, and/or on appeal. I have strong research and writing skills, a background in psychology, mediation, negotiation, and over 25 years of litigation and appellate experience. In court, I present a well-prepared, organized, confident, professional, and common-sense demeanor that gives me a certain credibility that jurors easily relate to and/or identify with. Out of court, I am a more light-hearted, relaxed, fun-loving and devoted friend, husband, and father of 4 children between the ages of 5 and 16 years of age.
I have dedicated myself entirely to the practice of criminal defense. My first job was with the Public Defender's Office. There is no better place to start for someone that wants to be a skilled criminal trial lawyer.. I spent almost two years in Lumpkin, Towns, Union and White Counties defending people in Superior Court. I defended people charged with simple misdemeanors, DUIs, drugs offenses, and serious felony matters.. After my time in Enotah I was recruited by the Public Defender's Office in the Northeastern Circuit. I represented clients in that circuit for drug crimes, probation violations, felony matters, and misdeeanors. During my time as a Assistant Public Defender I represented hundres of clients in all tyes of cases. I was able to learn how to defend a case and I was able to help people at the same time.. I have now moved to private practice but I bring the same zeal and passion to criminal defense as I always have. I am proud to help people during crisis, and helping people when they need it is as fufilling as ever.
I am an attorney committed to providing aggressive, compassionate and efficient legal representation to individuals throughout Georgia facing criminal actions. I have successfully defended many clients facing a variety of charges including felonies such as drug and sex offenses and misdemeanors such as DUI's, theft, and traffic citations. I believe that just because you are charged with a crime, does not mean you are guilty. I strive to ensure my clients' rights are protected and that their voice is heard.. Facing criminal charges can be the most stressful and daunting experience of anyone's life. It doesn't matter where you come from, what you do, or what has happened - my firm and I are here to help. Every client is special and requires special attention. At Chehimi Law, we are dedicated to providing you with custom representation - that fits what you and your case need.
