Why do I want to fight for the underdog? While I was growing up I began to notice people would open up to me and tell me their stories. It's kind of a gift I have learned. Mr. Reitz was born and raised in Salina, Kansas, received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Kansas State University in 1971 and his law degree from Washburn Law School in 1975. He joined the firm upon his graduation and became a partner January, 1979. Professional affiliations include the Saline-Ottawa Counties Bar, Kansas Bar, and American Bar Associations. He was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 1976 and the U.S. Tax Court in 1982.. He has served as President on the boards of the Salina Family YMCA, Greater Salina Community Foundation, and Stiefel Theatre for the Performing Arts; a Director on the Salina Community Theatre and Coronado Area Boy Scouts; an Elder and Trustee of First Presbyterian Church; and a Trustee of Kansas State University Foundation, Kansas State University — Salina Foundation, Salina Education Foundation, and First Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund.
