I have been a licensed attorney for over 20 years and am experienced with all aspects of litigation, from initial investigations and formal discovery to trial and appeals. My practice is currently devoted to indigent criminal defense.. I am admitted to practice in the state of Washington, including the U.S. District Court - Western District of Washington and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.. I grew up in the Puget Sound area and now reside on the Olympic Peninsula. I wholeheartedly believe my golden retriever is more photogenic than me, though she does take after her "momma" in terms of thoughtful expressions and the occasional raised eyebrow. My hobbies include digital photography, writing and home remodeling. I participate in fundraising for various animal welfare groups and Multiple Sclerosis research and remain hopeful that there will soon be a cure for this terrible disease.
