Originally from Southern California, Edward enlisted in the United States Army after graduating from high school.  He was trained as an Intelligence Analyst, and learned the importance of attention to details and being thorough in analyzing any situation.. After being honorably discharged, he went to college and then to law school in Iowa with the intent of making the Midwest his new home.  After graduating law school, he moved to South Dakota where he spent the next six years as a prosecutor in the largest city and county in South Dakota.  He then spent two years in private practice with small firm in Sioux Falls before creating his own company.

Nichole earned her law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1996, and has been practicing law in the Sioux Falls area ever since. Prior to law school, Nichole attended Augustana College, where she obtained her degree in Government and International Affairs. Nichole is admitted into practice in the State Bar of South Dakota since 1996, and has represented people in cases across the State of South Dakota in matters ranging from felony drug charges to helping people gain custodial and visitation rights. She has been involved in numerous criminal and civil appeals to the South Dakota Supreme Court, and made oral argument to the South Dakota Supreme Court.. Ken is a South Dakota native who was raised in Rapid City and moved to Sioux Falls in 1999. Ken earned an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas, and subsequently graduated from law school at KU in 1994. During law school he was selected for the Law Review, won several American Jurisprudence academic Awards, and finished in the top ten percent of his class, earning membership in the Order of the Coif.. After graduation Ken obtained valuable experience as a research attorney for the Kansas Court of Appeals, and also served as the research attorney for the Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals.  Ken returned to South Dakota, and began practicing criminal defense at the Minnehaha County Public Defender’s Office.  After two years, he entered private practice by joining Rhonda Lockwood’s office in Sioux Falls as an associate attorney.  In 2003, Ken opened his own law office, and focused on criminal defense and family law. Now, after twenty-two years working as an attorney, Ken has significant experience handling many types of legal matters.. Jan graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2001 with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Dakota, School of Law. Jan began her legal career serving the public by working with indigent clients at the Minnehaha County Public Advocate’s Office.. In 2013, she ventured into private practice and found that helping people who are going through a painful divorce or a child custody case is also very rewarding. She is dedicated to helping people through these difficult times.. In 2014, Jan was appointed to be a Child Support Referee. In this capacity, she conducts hearings to determine whether child support should be modified and when appropriate, how much it should be modified.. Allison grew up in the small town of Parker, South Dakota with her parents and one older brother. While a first generation lawyer, she had unique exposure to the legal profession starting at a young age; her mother, Lana Sanner, worked as a paralegal for Michael Butler, one of South Dakota’s most prominent criminal defense attorneys. Allison had the opportunity to work in Michael’s office throughout her high school and undergraduate years and spend invaluable time assisting with cases and attending various court proceedings. This sparked her interest to pursue a legal career.. Allison graduated in 2019 from the University of South Dakota with a degree in Criminal Justice. She continued her education at the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law. During law school, Allison completed internships at Helsper, McCarty, and Rasmussen in Brookings and for the Attorney General’s Office in Sioux Falls before graduating in 2022.
