Tennessee native Joe Weir received his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and his J.D. with honors from Drake University Law School in 2005. He spent the first few years of his career in Nashville defending insurance companies against injured or wronged people. I retired as a police detective after law school in order to begin a new chapter, yet continue to help those in need, just in another capacity.
