A native of Indiana, Tanner grew up with the midwestern mentality of hard work, dedication, and loyalty. In 2016, Tanner graduated from Indiana University’s Maurer School of Law. At Maurer, he competed in the prestigious Sherman Minton Moot Court competition, and was an Associate on the nationally-ranked flagship journal; the Indiana Law Journal (“ILJ”). While in law school, Tanner interned for multiple private defense contracting corporations in the District of Columbia. In addition, he interned for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan located in Detroit, Michigan. These experiences and others have provided Tanner with experience working in both the judicial and legislative branches of state and federal government.

Vincent M. Campiti, J.D., cum laude, 1997 from Valparaiso University where he was also an Associate Editor of the Valparaiso Law Review.  Mr. Campiti has significant litigation experience in the areas of civil, family and criminal law having tried numerous jury trials in both State and Federal courts across Indiana. He has argued appeals before the Indiana Court of Appeals, Indiana's Supreme Court and  before the Federal Seventh Circuit Court of Apepals. In addition to being an experienced trial attorney in the areas of personal injury, contract disputes, real estate disputes, business disputes, insurance disputes and criminal law,  Mr. Campiti maintains a large practice in the area of family law.  Mr. Campiti's litigation exprerience and trial knowledge provide a unique and effective perspective when handling divorce, paternity and child custody matters.  His  experience--uncommon among most family practice lawyers--allows Mr. Campiti to fully understand the pros and cons when advising clients whether to negotiate a result or fight for a result in court.. I'm a JD graduate from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law with an undergraduate background in criminal justice, psychology, and political science.. My first summer of law school I interned in Washington, DC with both the Department of Homeland Security (OIG) and the Department of Commerce (OGC).. My second summer I was a judicial extern for a federal magistrate judge in the Northern District of Indiana. I worked primarily on Social Security law, sanctions, and attorney's fees and got to see the  Federal Judiciary from the inside.. In the fall of my 3L year, I volunteered with District 10 Pro Bono Project, managing Medicaid and Social Security applications and appeals, and working on family court litigation.. In my 3L spring I externed at the Sargent Shriver National Center of Poverty Law (Chicago) in the Health Care Justice division, also working in fair housing, criminal record expungement, domestic violence, and asset building.. I worked for about three years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for St. Joseph County, first in the Traffic & Misdemeanor Division and then in the Special Victims Unit. I now work as a Staff Attorney for the Indiana Department of Child Services.

I am a life long resident of Indiana. After graduating from St. Joseph High School in South Bend, I went on to attend Northwestern University where I played football and received my B.A. in Political Science. From there, I received my law degree from Valparaiso University.. I have served on the board of governors for the St. Joseph County Bar Association since 1995 and was President from September 2001 to June 2003. I have served as the Attorney for the St. Joseph County Solid Waste Management District,  where I helped implement a county wide recycling program. I am a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association. I am also a Certified Family Law Specialist – Family Law Certification Board and a Registered Domestic Relations Mediator. I have been practicing law for over 27 years, primarily focusing on families.
