I grew up in a small-town of 2,500 people in Milton, Wisconsin. I started my legal career as a legal secretary in Elkhorn, Wisconsin while attending college at the University of Wisconsin. Utah has been my home since 1997 after moving to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah College of Law. My daughter accompanied me to my first year of law school and I had the privilege of becoming a mother again during my second year of law school.
