While not at work, I lead an equally demanding life, as an active member of my local church and church youth programs. In my free time, i enjoy walking my dogs, Kora and Daisy, reading up on the latest news in electronics and gadgets, golfing, swimming, studying American and world history, and debating polotics with my colleagues and friends. Also, I am a blue blooded BYU football fan.. My wife Brenda and I have been happily married since 1994 and moved to Mesa in 2002 after graduating Cum Laude from J. Ruben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University.. While I was an Associate of the lawfirm Lewis & Roca LLP, I worked closely with Kevin Goff, and in 2007, entered into Goff and Douglas, PC together. Initially we focused practicing primarily corporate real estate, representing larger clients such as Max Brenner Chocolate by the Bald Man, Pei Wei Asain Diner, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, The Habit Burger Grill, Z'Tejas Southwestern Grill, and others.. In late 2008, we made the decision to expand our practice into Bankruptcy, an area both Kevin and I had interest in and were excited to practice.. Since then, we have opened a second office in Apache Junction and brought on board a new Associate Nick Van Vleet, to help us handle the volume of bankruptcy work that has flown in over the past 2 years.. I'm so satisfied with my work and enjoy knowing that I am using my understanding of the law to help my community and look forward to many more years of serving the people therein.

Sean is available to represent a limited number of select business clients. He has extensive experience in cannabis law and business, previously acting as general counsel and senior vice president of Harvest, where he successfully took the company public in November 2018. Sean has practiced law for over 20 years in a broad range of business litigation and transactional law.. Prior to joining Harvest, Sean was a founding partner of White Berberian, PLC, where he worked on business litigation, cannabis law, complex business transactions, and regulatory work. Earlier in his career, he was a business litigation partner of a national law firm. He began his career doing products liability defense with a national firm for Phillip Morris. During law school, he also served as an extern for the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for Northern California.. Sean graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University’s Barrett Honors College and then attended the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he graduated cum laude in 1999. Sean was an editor of a law journal and was published in both academic and law journals. Sean is licensed to practice in both Arizona and California.. Russ graduated with a Bachelors of Science magna cum laude in Justice Studies with a minor in Business from Arizona State University in 1996. In 1999, Russ graduated with a juris doctor from Arizona State University College of Law.. Russ was also formerly known as Sergeant Richelsoph when he was in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He served with Bulk Fuel Company D, 6th Engineering Support Battalion, 4th Force Service Support Group from 1991 to 1997. Prior to his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, Russ was the Nuclear Biological Chemical Warfare Training Non-Commissioned Officer for a reinforced company of Marines.. When he is not working, Russ enjoys being a husband and the father of three very beautiful and devilishly intelligent daughters. He also enjoys shooting, reading, and traveling.

Patrick is from Las Cruces, NM.  He attended New Mexico State University where earned his BA in Government.  He has settled in Phoenix, AZ with his wife Megan and two sons, Mason and Austin, after attending the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.. Patrick is a veteran and spent 11 years in the military.  A former infantry officer and airborne ranger he continues to be active in the military community.  He continues to volunteer with Wills for Heroes and Victory House, a local veterans shelter.. In his spare time he enjoys traveling with his family and participating in triathalons.

My practice focuses on helping businesses protect their intangible assets from disloyal employees and unfair competition.. I am a student of the law, with a focus on how lawyers can better meet the needs of our clients. To that end, I am working on an advanced legal degree -- an LL.M. in Litigation Management from Baylor University -- to gain additional knowledge and skills to help me represent my clients more predictably, efficiently, and effectively.. This is my second LL.M degree. After 20 years in practice, I returned to school to receive an LLM in Biotechnology and Genomics from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. The program is the first of its type in the world. Since 2008, I have been an adjunct professor at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, teaching a course in Trade Secrets and Restrictive Covenants. I also wrote the textbook for the course.. I am a frequent speaker and author on employment and intellectual property issues. I have an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell. I serve on the Board of the East Valley Partnership, a coalition of community, business, government, and educational leaders that advocates to improve quality of life in the region.

Mr. Soelberg is a communicator. Mr. Medina, an Arizona native, grew up in the small mining community of Bagdad, Arizona. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 1989, Mr. Medina received a Patricia Roberts Harris Fellowship to attend Creighton University School of Law. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1992.. Mr. Medina joined Davis Miles McGuire and Gardner in December 2017. He handles a wide variety of cases including: products liability, catastrophic injury cases, police misconduct, negligence, employment cases, class actions, medical malpractice, and other complex litigation matters. Since 1999, Mr. Medina has focused his practice on representing individuals and their families who have suffered catastrophic injuries or death. These cases often involve complex litigation against tire manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers, and other large corporations.. Mr. Medina was admitted to the Arizona Supreme Court in 1993. He was admitted to the Colorado Supreme Court in 1995. I am a native Arizonan (yes, those exist), and returned to Arizona to practice law after graduating from Brigham Young University. My wife and I raised our five children here. I have spent my 25 years as an attorney representing people who have been wrongfully injured in automobile collisions. I have also tried to serve those clients by being involved in orgainzations protecting their rights in the legislature, principally the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association, where I have served as president.. I have a "side" mission of trying to help lawyers and other professsionals make healthier lifestyle choices. I turned to marathon running and careful nutrition several years ago, and have now completed 17 full marathons (and counting; likely more by the time you read this!).
